NEW CCI for 2002 at Indiana Beach....no joke.....

How can IB and Big Vhiefs both be within 100 miles of you?  They are over 300 miles apart arent they?

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?
Awesome! I'm so happy that Indiana Beach is my home park :)

Anyone have plans yet to visit Indiana Beach 2002? 3 REALLY different CCI coasters in one park...I can't wait! I hope Indiana Beach starts to get a little more popular in the Amusement Industry...which reminds me...my first editorial is going online tonight at (http://www.indianabeach.8k.com)--"The Forgotten Gem". E-mail any questions to: glitchster@hotmail.com

Count me in for IB in 2002.  In fact I already have reservations at the hotel for the weekend of Stark Raven Mad.  After first visiting in 2000 and only spending a half day at the park I plan on spending 2 days there next year.

Wow! I got the AT edition, and I must have missed this...I don't how though! :)

This probably seals it...I'm probably going to head to Monticello this year. I wanted to this year, but now I have even another reason.

-------------
Mayday - Memorial Day Weekend - Nonpoint, Nickelback, Oleander, Staind
Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

Cornball Express wowed me SO much, that I was going to return anyway.  It alone is worth a trip.  HH was nothing spectacular in my book, but great fun regardless.  Now with a 3rd CCI (and a fun looking unique one at that!) I will have to go back.
Indiana is fast becoming a CCI mecca, and a must visit state for anyone who wants to experience some of the greatest wood coasters out there!

I am not a math major but if you lived right inbeetween the two would it take 3 hours each way intead of 2 one way and 4 the next. :)

I new this would happen now for quite a while actually. One of the ride ops ( senior staff guy that was inspecting how things were ran) told me about this thing in quite a lot of detail. I did not  quite understand his concept but for some reason new this would happen. By what it seems to me this thing will be quite thrilling. I think this park has a bright future. And also despite popular belief they do have  quite a lot of room to expand it is just  a matter of fact of doing it. I think a lot of people forget that this is a campground to and that is one of their big business beside the amusement park. If I am not mistaken they own quite a bit of land mainland so they are really not boxed in at all it is just the matter of moving parking to mainland.  I also see a steel coaster of sometype coming to this park in the near future. I knew at one point they were looking at boomerrangs. So maybe one of those will pop up there.

Actually that is not all that far off....IB is about 2 to 2.5 hours from my home.  Sometimes up to 3 when you factor in all the freaking construction in Indiana that turns I-80 into a parking lot.  I know from where I live (in Fox Lake, IL) I can get to Big Chiefs in about 1.5 to 2 hours.  Realistically it is probably only a 4-5 hour drive between IB and Big Chief's.  While your at it stop off at SFGAm.  Why not make a weekend out the coaster destination known as Chicagoland....In less than 5 hours driving we have, Indiana Beach, Big Chiefs, Santa's Village, SFGAm, and Michigan's Adventure.

Rhetorical question of the day: If I am an ACE and CB Club member do I get double the benefits?
Jeeze...all this talk about Big Chiefs really makes me want to go!

*Making note to make a side trip to IB during SRM '02*

Yeah, 100 miles is a tad exagerated:). I do have a house in Rockford, so Big Chief's isn't that far off. Either way, with 3 CCI's in 1 park, even if it was 400 miles away, the trip would still be worth taking.
