Well there used to a rodeo like arena on out there that was used for a few of the festivals. However I don't think that it is used anymore. That path now just leads to the bone yard up behing Tidal Wave where Skyscreamer is laying in pieces (Still).

Yes, I remember them holding festivals out there, and I specifically remember a halfpipe set up out there for one of them, but I don't remember what else.

The hills would make a spectacular backdrop for a hyper, and would probably provide some surprises.

Yes yes! i agree! i think im going to contact them, we have it all planned out!

I personally think that SFSTL will be getting a B&M floorless soon!

I just hope they dont clone SFNE SROS. That's the only coaster that makes the park popular around the country and the if a more popular Six Flags park got one, SFNE would just be a small, worthless SF park.

God...I hope that doesnt happen.

Don't ever call Batman: The Ride a hunk of crap.  That inverted coaster has been the biggest development in coasters in recent history...and probably will stay that way.  Maybe, if X works like they say, it may be able to compare in the amount of change and influence on the industry as the first inverted coaster ever, Batman: The Ride.

I'm with SFGAMBoy here - You think the lines for DejaVu at SFGAM were bad, remember when batman first came out?  On top of that, batman has a better load times and possibly capacity!  It was truely revoloutionatry.  -Patrick

Hate to tell you guys this, but they CAN'T build behind the Screamin Eagle, they don't own the land. That land is part of Rockwoods reservation, therefore they can't buy it either. I agree that would be awesome, but it aint gonna happen!!!

A Gio is just as good as an Intamin and 10x more intense than a B&M.

I think that you are right about the Intamin part but BM's ae just as intense as Gio.  It really just depends on the courdse of the ride.  The Goliath and Titan rides have intense helixes and other than that are just like Raging Bull-sorda.  I bet if BM or Intamin made exact clones of Titan or Raging Bull, using their track and train designs would be just as intense or more as the two Gio clones.

Some B&Ms aren't intense. Medusa @ SFMW isn't intense it's just fun. I can take a nap on Medusa but I choose not to. I'm not saying it's not a good ride but it's just not intense to me. Top Gun @ PGA is intense because it's very quick, while Medusa is graceful. :)

I agree with sfne guy and SROS221. They CANNOT clone SROS(sfne). The ride is built uniquely for the territory and it would be hard to modify land at another park unless they have a lot of land available.

I live in the St. Louis area and it would be awesome if they do get a hyper or giga coaster. According to screamscape it will be an intamin but that of course is rumor. Also SFSL wont get it for 02 it would be for 03.

SFSTl definatley deserves a hyper. If they get one, then they're easily one of the biggest parks in america. Mr. Freeze, Eagle, Boss, and Batman in one park is more than a good start. A hyper is the only thing they lack. I wouldnt be surprised if they did add a hyper within the next 5 years. It's an obvious move. Oh yea, one more thing, Bataman and hunk of crap don't belong in the same line together.:)

Joey,

I believe (therefore I'm not positive) that the SKYSCREAMER was a drop ride that used to be at SFAW. Well they took it out of the park and sent it to SFSTL, but I think it's just sitting in the graveyard collecting dust. Maybe they will do something with it. Who knows. lol

I think before a hyper or Giga they should replace Mr Freeze with lap bars trains but it doesn't matter that will come in time. SF is changing all their coasters by Premier to lap bars.

I would be surprised if a hyper, let alone anything at all will come to SFSTl. As much as I hope it comes this year, I just don't think it will.

I would guess if Six Flags St. Louis would be getting a coaster for next season, it would be a hypercoaster.

And you're saying the park is dying, just look at SFEG!
