I can just see it now. The first launched standup goes to Six Flags St Louis, next to The Boss. It's named "Guido".

I think it would be cool to have 2 dueling/racing B&M's. They would be floorless coasters, and there are a couple of ideas I thought of.

1. I would build it so the stations are on top of each other. The lift would be a lauched lift, and the odd thing about this is that right after the top train leaves the station, it does half in inline twist, so the people in the top trains could look down on the other train, and the bottom train could look up. This may not work, since some people would think it would be cool to spit on the train below.

2. The rest on the ride would be exactly the same as a normal dueling/racing B&M.

3. The other idea I had was that the train that started on top, would pull into the station on the bottom, and vice versa.

If the way I want to set up the stations isn't feasible, which I think it is, it would still be cool to have the stations like a normal dueling/racing coaster, and just pull into the oppoite station. Either way, these coasters would have great capacity.

I'm just thinking of the best hyper/giga experience, nothing really new. 440 feet, 110+ mph, 88 deg. angle (no need to go straight 90), second hill of 370 feet, third hill of 315 feet, overbanked turn of 225 feet, into a massive pretzel-like sweep of high turns and twists that are off to the side. Then diving turns and twists through the structure of the first 3 hills (creating headchoppers on the outgoing hills and the twists through the structure) then about 3 good bunny hops back into almost the same ending as MF. That's my dream coaster. And yes, I think the GP would ride it. It's too bad that it would cost around 80-100 million dollars or more to build. Who knows, maybe some day, some park will have the space and money required to build such a ride.

Oh, as for a new idea, how about a dualing floorless / inverted, but instead of creating different effects, have them be the exact same ride, just that the inverted's feet are always above the floorless's heads. The only time that the tracks would diverge would be for vertical loops, since the difference in loop radius would be so great that the inverted would have much less track and would invariably win the dualing match, so they go through loops side by side. What an experience!

How about this.....
A flying coaster turbo drop esque ride. After boarding, you would go down a little drop lying down then flip over. Then you would get raised at a90 degree angle like 200- 250 ft. At the top you are looking straight down, head first. Then you drop like there is no tomorrow, hit some magnetic brakes, flip back over and go back up that little hill to gewt back to the station. Now THAT would be terrifying.

A stand-up suspended or stand-up wooden. The suspended could swing freely and the wooden would be 150-200 ft. tall

I doubt this is possible but what if you had a larger than average track with an inverted on the bottom and a floorless above it on the same track. You could board the inveted on lower station and the floorless just above it.

This could be come possible instead of lying on your your back how about your stomach with 250 ft. drop 90 degrees down dueling with one that lies you on your back execpt you don't flip over into flying so you won't know inversion you are going into next.

MFCrazyrider, that's an awesome idea! That would look so cool from the midway, especially in loops or barrel rolls. You'd have to think of some way to make both tracks go the same distance though, since the floorless would always travel less track through loops. Hills are ok, because the floorless would have more track at the top and less at the bottom. That would be great if we see one of these. I doubt it, but you never know!

Jman & MFC-R: Better yet, there could be a 'compound train'. That is to say, the train itself would be like a double decker bus with the track between the two levels. That would elimiate the track length problem...

2Hostyl, that is exactly what im talking about with the train would be like on big two story thing. The top level floorless and the bottom inverted.
