Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 wishlist.

I think it would be neat if you could contract out all of the different coaster designers. Once you've contracted a designer or two then you can have them start developing their different coaster types. I would include all of the steel coaster designers including the smaller ones like Pinfari and Zieirer. Each one would have the correct looking track and supports. For wooden coasters I would basically keep it the way it is except adding more possibilities with the tracks as far as the turns go. More flat rides are desparately needed, more concessions, games, water park and of course I want it all right now :)

I think there should be a lot of stuff.
1)Bigger map in different shapes instead of a square.
2)Parking lot with tram pickup.
3)pay lockers.
4)more shops and souveniers.
5)More theming.
6)bigger paths and more paths to select from.
7)Seperate waterpark with seperate admission and water rides without full circuit.
8)seperate zoo or drive thru safari.
9)big fountains and more.
10)night mode with lights on the rides.
11)winter break to build new rides.
12)start construction with construction workers building coasters.
13)women guest with kids also.
14)make security guards arrest people for vandalism and litter instead of walking around.
15)braver,smarter,and richer guest.

1: Some parks have height restrictions!
2: Parks have neighbors so it will be like sim city, they say "The neighbors are complaining about the noise from your new giga coaster! please do something about it.
3:More types of loops, Inclined loops, Over banked turns
4:Giga Coasters and Hyper Coasters
5:Camoflauge- so you can make a steel coaster look like a wooden one (example: California Screaming)
6:LIM powered Steel Coasters(California Screaming)
7:Steel Twister Power Launch Mode ( like the incredible Hulk)
8 You can choose diffrent angles of drops like 80 degree angle, 95, 45... etc.. So the drop will be more intense
9: You park could start in a small year first, like probably one scenario could be Coney Island 1908 and you have the Flip Flap looping coaster, Cyclone, and other rides and attractions like Roller Skating, and carnival type games
10: After your ride survives for more then 50 years it can be considered as an Ace Coaster Classic
11: Wooden Twister with more kinds of things like a brake run so that the ride stops for 10 seconds to wait for the other ride to lets its passangers in
12:Diffrent kinds of banked turns the ones you see on the GCI coasters, like Lighting Twister and Stuff..
13: Ability to create tunnels and put dragon claws or something to make it more scarier.
14: Your coaster can be rated by coaster enthusists
15: Your coaster can go into the Golden Ticket Awards.. that makes people go to your park
16: Guest that put their hands up
17: Women Guests
18: Guest that act like they are horrified on the ride they hold the bar really tight and they are ducking down
19: You can see how much Air time the ride has.. And you will see some people holding on to each other, people jumping off their seat when the air time comes, people closing their eyes

For the next game, it should be called "Roller Coaster Tycoon: The Ultimate Park". It should just be one big huge scenario with the goal of getting ppl into your park. You should be able to shape your land before and after you open your park (like in sim city), and you should be able to pick from different landscapes of already existing parks (like SFMM and CP). You should also be able to access already existing parks (much like the Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach scenarios but US parks). You should also be able to build every type of Coaster that exists with every type of car that exists and be able to mix and match those (with tracks they work on obviously). They should (like the existing parks) have an inventory of actual rides (including heights, speeds, angles of drops, and landscapes that they're on. You should also have parking lots you have to manage. Optional water park options (that coincide with the parks). You should be able to have games and shows and other things you would find at a regular park but you don't find in the games today. All types of ppl (men, women, boys, girls). You should also be able to "walk" around your park as if an actual person and interact with other park goers. And finaly the most important wish of all, being able to weld your own track peices. You should be able to take certain lengths of track and be able to shape it to the shape that you want. And you individualy place the tracks where you want. All of this designing will be in like a designing portion of the game and it will be "built" by a construction team in your actual park. You should be able to view your park (in the closed season {october-march}) and thats when you design the rides and get the park ready for the next season. This sounds almost impossible and that's why the game would only be one scenario.

I hafta Say Roller Coaster tycoon is the very first game in history that has me playing 3 years after i got it! Bravo to the Chris Sawyer team! But yes there are a few things lacking.

1) Nighttime is a big one and has been previously posted, It not only takes the rides to a new dimension it ads tons of theming ideas.
2) the Rides we grew up with and are part of parks today that never get used....good examples Wonder Wheel (ten stories or higher), Sky Wheel (double ferris wheel), The Bullet, House of Mirrors, Side Shows, The Octopus, The swings(either pivoting on axis or stationary axis), The Parachute Drop, The Insider(sorta like a Tilta World on Speed), That super high speed ride with swinging cars under a canopy that fly around in a circular incline (usually to high music, theres too many names for them), The tower that looks like it has a scrambler attached that goes to to the top of it(usually bout ten stories), All the Kid Rides, The Kiddy Coaster, as named above all the shops and stalls with real carnie type food and games but put them with hawkers! Please note how spectacular these rides look at night, ESPECIALLY rides like the wonder wheel with all its light patterns and the Sky Wheel all outlined in flourescence. Fireworks are a must for nighttimes so the timeline would need to be adjusted.

As for the coasters.....

2) they rock, Great diversity in them, but, you can only go up and down on diagonals....this needs to be changed to allow the loops, inversions, twist etc to be an option while traveling diagonal(I dunno if this is possible with programming in this engine), Inclined loops and incline inversions need to be added as well. And lights! they are what make up the entire nightline of a park!

So thats my thoughts be them as they may, thanks for the great game to Mr Sawyer....on a parting note........

LOSE THE SCENERIOS or MAKE THEM SO THEY ARE NOT ALL YOU HAFTA DO. :)

I think they should have little ambulances that can rush to the scene of a crash. Also, while on the crash subject, mostly, roller coasters and inflatable rafts don't really blow up into flame.

I like this one more guests like 55,000 instead of 3,500 thats more like it.

what is with people and "RCT2" its probably not gonna be "rct2" i mean, jeez, hasnt anybody noticed that there are 2 expansion packs, so if there is anything its gonna be an expansion pack, not a sequal. if it went like that it would be RCT4, and i doubt there will be anything like that, with all the coaster games coming out this year, i got rct on feb 18 (my b day) in 2000, and im sick of it, i dont even play it anymore, because i have better games like UC3D to get sick of, and soon to be coming out Scream Machines and No Limits. down with rct! go no limits and scream machines! but of course this is my opinion, so everyone else think what you'd like, just like i do :)

-You should have the ability to select which kind of track you want (Intamin style, etc.)
-Guests should ride more intense coasters. Am I the only one that notices you can build a coaster that is on the ground and goes in a circle and it will have a biggest line in the park???
-Bigger scenarios
-A huge final scenario with unlimited money, new coasters, and every ride/theming. In some games on Playstation, PSX 2, N64 if you beat the game in a certain amount of time, with certain things etc. at the end you get cheats for new characters or something. It should be like that but with coasters. Like if you beat the game with only 6 coasters per scenario you get a 4d coaster or something.
-Realistic Money (coasters dont cost a couple thousand)
-Ride ALL rides, even the ones you make
-Definately night time and off season.
-If you want a pre-made coaster (one that the game makes) you should fill out a form showing the location of where you want it, how much you want to spend, and the type. After that you should be able to send it off to real companies and see what they can do.
-Water Parks
-Add in everyone else's ideas and you have the perfect game!!

My wishlist will be short, but you'll probably agree.
1) Roller Coaster Tycoon 2
2) Being able to choose specific coaster elements.
A] Booster speed. RCT has such oddball speed choices, 49mph, 54mph?!? Same for brake speed, and power launch speed.
B] Lift hill speed. When you get your coaster to the "too high" limit, the ride is half over!
C] Drop angle. There's the 45degree choice (i think), the 60 degree drop, and then fully vertical. What if I wanted an 80 degree drop?
D] Full 360degree building. Not building in 8 different directions.
E] Over-banked turns. Very kewl stuff.
{if you haven't caught on, I'm into building a Millennium Force coaster}
F] Realistic heights. Not the oddball 22, 63, 45, system RCT uses currently.
G] Powered lanuch with more than 1 train.
3) Better themeing. (I don't have CS or LL yet, so I dunno about the whole themeing in there.)
4) Ride the Rides! I would LOVE to go thru my own park and see how bad it is! I would also LOVE to go into a Cedar Point re-created park and ride it in there!

Two words: BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY so I can still play my parks that I have now

 

ALSO: Two modes may help, one being a full simulation mode with nighttime, winter, and waiting for ride construction; and one being a sort of "arcade mode" where there are none of the above, just nonstop play, kind of how the game is now
