"Hi, you guys want some cookies!?" Corky Romano
Basically: reduce the number of different type of coasters:
e.g.
-Allow all inversion types (including vertical drop and tilt track) (including B&M trains) and car types into steel corkscrew when all ride improvements are completely researched, with the track style to be Arrow, B&M, Morgan, Vekoma, etc. and no height limit
-Do the same as above for the inverted coasters, and allow flying trains and 2 direction station layout (You can't use certain types of train on certain station types)
-More realistic ride loading time
2) ability to chose which company you want to use for your coaster.
3) more types of coasters.
4) more inversions.
5) real time.
6) being able to ride your ride.
7) real waterslides and waterparks.
8) more thrill rides.
9) optional expansion to make more difficult, as in making it take longer to build rides, like you would have to order them first. or something that would make it more realistic and like owning an actual park.
10) more realistic guests.
11) real kiddie rides ( frog hopper, mini ferris wheel, regular kiddie coaster as an option) or make that a kiddie ride section in the rides window.
12) some unrealistic cenarios in which you have an unlimited amount of land. and money.
13) parking lots.
14) hotel areas.
15) more realistic staions.
16) walk in stores, instead of stands.
17) game stands.
18) more real parks with accurate coasters.
19) special occasions.
20) more shows.
21) real seasons, when people wear coats and stuff.
i'm getting bored now so i'm going to end it at hear, but this would make the game much better.

Something else I would like to see: A CONTROL PANEL to dispatch your ride!
Other ideas I would like:
1. Parachute drop
2. Airplane ride (Air Racers)
3. 1st Generation Intamin Freefall ride
4. Faster water on water rides
5. Transfer tracks and train barns, and not having to lose the queue when you add/subtract trains!
6. Ferris Wheels / Double Ferris Wheels
7. Narrower queue lines... let's face it, queue lines aren't as wide as paths. You could get more people in line in a more confined space.
8. Better sounds of rides and people!
9. After working in a park for a season now, I have found that people don’t throw up nearly as much as they do in RCT. They do, however, litter at least twice as much as in the game.
10. I really like the nighttime idea. Tracer lights are a must.
11. Smoother terrain transitions, like in Sim City 3000. I like natural looking stuff.
12. An ‘octopus’ ride (that WILL make people sick).
13. Better supports for high track. On steel coasters, it would look like Magnum or MF... on wood coasters, the superstructure gradually widens toward the bottom to distribute the load.
14. Water (lakes and streams, not rides) can change elevation
15. A guest services/relations department that gives you reports on what guests like or are complaining about, like what real parks have.!
16. Trim brakes on slopes.
17. A Tilt-A-Whirl.
18. Weather affects ride performance. Some rides will have to be shut down in rain/high wind/lightning. Maybe even park evacuation if the weather is extremely severe.
19. Park staff-only service roads, and have mechanics in trucks (this was mentioned earlier) to respond to breakdowns.
These are the ones I could think of tonight. I would like to hear any opinions on them, good or bad. Also, despite all these whish lists, RCT is still one helluva game.
I agree with the previous comments to add different track types. Perhaps one example for each type of track like a Schartzkopf, an intiman (both their flat track and the box and triangles), a B&M, an arrow type, gio, morgan(some are in the game already, lets just be complete )
Release the game with more flat ride variety. Include some of the older rides like the flyers, and whip, and also some of the newer rides that you see at theme parks and fairs like the chaos, topspin, octopus, and you gotta have a zipper.
Make it easier to build buildings than raising land and hoping it looks good. Maybe make a system where there are various wall types and you can kind of build a building. Allow people to put shops and the like in buildings easily for realistic shops. Also make it so you can have better looking tunnels(I would love to build those blue tunnels on Magnum)
A lot of people were pressing for a different scale of time down to a day where you have night or day. I dont think that would work real well as far as gameplay. An interesting option would be to have a hotkey you press to go to night mode so you can see your park lit up and play in night for awhile if that strikes your fancy.
An interesting alternative to the existing rules for research and also for time. Have it so that the game uses real years and not year one, year two, ect... One scenario you play could start in 1920 and another you do could start in 2000. All depends. I would also recommend running the clock faster. Say 25% faster but including the offseason in that time. Your park opens and closes for a season between April and October. In October people would start riding rides on their way out the gate. This decreased attendance in this month and while people filter in during April would almost be like running the park on weekends only. The offseason you can build without having to manage guests and employees and rides crapping out. Then when the season starts you will have less time to build and will have to spend more time managing the park.
Anyways, back to the time thing, you set it up so that if your scenario is in 1920, you only get access to coaster components of that time. If you keep playing into the 30s you might get the option to research some more advance tech from that decade. You can also extend that to the hard times that hit the parks in the thirties and forties. Then in the 80s you get all sorts of cool Arrow and Schartzkopf stuff to play with. In the 90s you get to start with the B&M stuff and into the really cool intamin and vekoma stuff. 2000s you get flying, 4D, ect...
Anyways, just a few ideas I had.
Cheers
