FIRST of all, this is not meant to be an annoying thread but it has been a long time since i have heard any news on the construction progress. Has anyone been there recently? and is it possible that the ride would be open for fright fest?

I was there sunday and both motors where in place and it looked like the cables were attached. The reason I say this is two huge cables hung down and then were draped over the ride itself. But the cars were not in place. So who knows!

It will be done when it is done, just like it has been stated in all the previous threads. Why can't people just let it rest? It's nothing huge, just a big boomerang.

Good news on the Deja Vu rides - SFMM is testing theirs regularly. No problems as of yet. We may see an "X"/"Deja Vu" Labor Day weekend opening.
Once one of the rides opens the other's will be right behind it.

Ha ! That would be funny if I end up riding SFMM's Deja Vu before I ride the one @ SFGAm. I am determined to go out there and ride X somehow when it opens.

When I was on Iron Wolf I looked in the employee parking lot and I think I saw something all wrapped in plastic. It kinda looked like a train for Deja Vu But it could have been something else. Then later that night I saw them moving it to a differant spot so look for it. Hopefully it was a train that I saw. But remember I am not 100% sure it was a train.

That's funny because SFMM & SFoG already got their trains months ago.

I just hope when it does open eventually that all the Deja Vu bashers don't ride the ride after so many of them claimed to not care, and that they had given up on it.
But of course once it opens everyone will forget about all the complaining they did and ride it anyway. Maybe I should save some of the anti-Deja Vu quotes and bring them back after it opens and some of the same people no doubt have nice things to say.
And the worst part is the people who were patient about things still have to be in the same line with all the bashers.
It will be open when it's open, and I can wait until then.

Still smells fishy to me. So the trains are in the park? Source, please. Did you see them with your own eyes? And what does GreatAmericaBoy mean, exactly, by saying "They have everything set for putting the trains in?"

I'm positive that the trains are at the park. Ok, as you get off American Eagle look to the right. You WILL see them. I have a friend who works there, He said they are going to attempt to put the train's on today. (8-16-01) If not today, sometime this week. He's almost positive they will put the trains on this week. Most likely today. But, The trains are at the park.
