Deja Vu @ SFGAm

It's kinda annyoing though, I mean we've been waiting for a long time for Deja and it looks like they are making no progress. I mean look at X, they had that thing up really quick. They did a great job on it but Deja is moving very

I'm thinking a labor day weekend if all goes well for SFGA.... I mean, Seriously, think about it, SFGA has just been relaxing, prob. laughing at SFOG's mistake. SFGA has been learning from those mistakes. So, I'm thinking after getting the train on, Give it about 2-3 weeks of testing. Seriously. I'm going by my way of looking at things. Think about how long it took v2 to open, a whole 2 weeks. WOW, I was amazed.
I agree with btpcheater once they get there trains on it should only take about 2-3 weeks since they have learned from the other parks mistakes. So Labor Day sounds about right.

Ok can someone tell me what the mistakes the other parks made and why GA had to give their train to SFoG? Of course I am back in Jersey so I will not get to ride it till I go back and visit family next summer no matter what, and I have no clue if I will ever ride X. Damn it sucks being an adult working all the time with responsibilities.:)

Any resemblance to living or
dead people is purely coincidental.
does anyone know if the trains are up yet and if there any pics to prove it?

The trains are NOT on the track as of 8/21. I was there. However, there were a number of people working on the ride today (Amazing!), and oddly, they were digging into the ground around the supports.
I went there today and if you look really closely, right after the loop, there are some wheels, that look like they are for the train. I couldn't see seats, but I saw some wheels that look like the could connect to one car. It could me a construction vehicle attached to the ride, but it looks like it would be the wheels on the track. This is 8/22. There were only two sets of wheels, so like I said, they could only hold one car. I think the train will go on really soon. There were about 3 people working on these wheels.

Edit: Good point. I took off the S on trains.

Why do you people keep saying trains? I never new a boomerang coaster could have 2 or more. Wow those people at Vekoma are pure geniouses(SP?) Where's Deja Vu's transfer track?

You get the point, just say TRAIN, not trains.

SFMMANIAC, I say trains on accident sometimes, too. Almost all of us do. We slip up, ok? No big deal, we still know what we all mean, no harm is done by saying trains instead of train (even though trains is technically incorrect.) If you don't like it, sue us. People slip up, thats a fact.

Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?
Is there any chance that it will be open Labor Day weekend???

They gave the train to them because Great America already opened a new ride this year  (V2) and they haven't yet.  But I still don't get why there weren't enough trains in the first place!!!  :)
I heard SFOG's Train crashed during a test run and thats why SFGAm gave them there train.

I did stop at Six Flags Great America on the way back from Dorney Park Deja Vu wasnt open when I was there I was disappointed!
Yeup, SFGAm's model isn't opening Labor Day. The one at SFoG has been reported by the Atlanta Journal to debut to the public September 1, 2001. Labor Day weekend that is. SFMM, at the time of this post is being typed is having a media day for theirs. It opens tomorrow to the public, 8/25 (as of this post).
No train as of 8/22
Man what does it take to put some stinkin trains  on. If you people say the trains are there in GAm than they whould have put them up! They can put the trains on and still work on some other things. Man Im mad!
