Compressed Airhead

1) Superman @ SFA's 3rd Hill
2) Superman @ SFA's Non-Inverting Corkscrew
3) Hypersonic @ PKD's tower

I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned Shivering Timbers, the most packed airtime ride EVER. The airtime is definatly powerful because it knocked my seat belt OFF. This is from your weight pushing into the belt..., you have to ride Timbers to believe it! :)

I'm gonna have to say that of the rides I've been on, S:ROS (SFA) had the most forceful airtime I've been on of a steelie...

And Phoenix at Knoebels had it for a woodie.

California Screamin' has these 5 nasty hills that range in size, but the smaller, the more major airtime. My cuz has been on S:ROS and went on California Screamin' and said "that was the most air ever"

I have ridden a lot of coasters, and none in my recollection could compare with Lochness Monster at BGW. Everytime I ride it, I actually have to 'bear down' or I get very uncomfortable with the extreme air that I ALWAYS get on the 2nd drop right before the interlocked loops. Don't know about anyone else...I imagine most people aren't really interested in the 'older rides' at BGW.
I also remember riding Drachen Fire the first month it was open. The back seat had tremendous air over the camelback. I remember counting to 5 every time I rode it that day. Poor Drachen Fire..:(

Have people confused the most airtime with the most powerful airtime?

SROS at SFNE and Phoenix at Knoebels have the most airtime.

The first drop in the back seat of the Riverside Cyclone has the most powerful airtime.

Someone mentioned earlier the GASM at SFOG - frightening airtime. In the back seat I actually managed to hit the persons face on the seat infront because I was thrown that much in the air. That will teach me for removing my seat belt.

From what I experienced,
1) Cyclops
2) Shivering Timbers
3) Cornball Express
[Edit - Cornball has some major ejector air in the front row]

After years of disappointment with get-rich-quick schemes, I know I'm gonna get rich with this scheme...and quick!

By 'forceful' I'm going by how hard you get slammed into the lap-bar. I'll partially agree with Grant, Riverside Cyclone is up there, but Coney Island Cyclone back car slammed me into the bar more than any other ride I've been on. I've been on a lot of the others mentioned and these two Cyclones punch hardest and the ol'man at Coney does it the most.

No offense, but you don't have much to compare it to.

Buzzo, can you give us a review of Expedition G-Force?

Wood, I'd say Shivering Timbers.

Steel, I agree with Phantom's Revenge. The double-down SLAMS you down and throws you back up, it's wicked.

Nobody mentioned row 1-3 on Phoenix. Not sure it's the most forceful, but it is certainly forceful, and few ever succeed in making it all the way around with their hands up.

Phantom's Revenge. Sit in the back seat. On every hill you get airtime. Especially on the second hill and the bunny hops. SIT IN THE BACK SEAT. You won't be disappointed.
