Coasters built by inhouse crew?

Are there coasters built by an inhouse crew? Are they pretty good?

The Grizzly at PGA was designed and built by Kings Entertainmet...ITS THE WORST COASTER IN THE WORLD!

I believe Twister at Knoebel's is "home grown." It is a pretty decent coaster, but it still comes in second to Phoenix at that park, IMO.

Viper at SFGAm was built in-house, it's one of my favorite coasters.

Beast was built by Kings Island Construction and it seems they did a very good job at constructing it with the structure still holding strong after 22 seasons.

The Grizzly, at both PKD and PGA are variations of the Wildcat at Cincinnati`s Coney Island. The Beast was built by the Kings Island Construction company which was headed up by Cincinnati native Charlie Dinn, father of Denise Dinn of Custom Coasters International.

The Thunderbolt was "built" inhouse by Andy Vettel. The legendary Andy Vettel also made variations to many other Kennywoodies.

Are you positive that KECO built PGA's Grizzly? I don't think that KECO ever owned PGA. Could you possibly be referring to PKD's Grizzly instead?

Obviously, rides at Disney Land and Disney World like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad were built in-house by the imagineers.

Twister might have been built by the Knoebel's people, but it's a reconstruct of the original Twister that was originally at SFEG, I think.

According to RCDB Grizzly at PKD was built by KECO, Grizzly at PGA was built by Kings Island Construction and Engineering, probably similar or same entity.

Jaguar and the one and only
WINDJAMMER were designed in house by Knotts. (apparently next years coaster will be as well).

Space Mountain and Big Thunder I am preety shure were built by Vekoma.

Thanks for correcting me one the Grizzly info, i didnt have the info on hand but knew the park owners at the time built it.

Im pretty Big thunder railroad and Space mountain were built by arrow dynamicsat least at Disneyland.

where did you get that idea??? Windjammer was designed by Togo, Jaguar was designed by Zierrer, and the new coaster will be designed by Intamin.
