Poll Section

While I know we have a poll already, I've been thinking about a page that has maybe 5-10 polls on it at any given time. Poll ideas (and possible options) could be member submitted in the same way news is. Moderators would check them and post the ones that are creative. Creative, as in not "What's your favorite coaster?". After running for a week or so, they could be archived for later viewing. You could leave the poll on the sidebar as the Featured Poll or something similiar. I think it would get a little more member participation going while not requiring a boatload of new coding. Let me know what you think.

I don't know about having so many active polls at once, but I think it would be a nice addition to see an archive of old polls (no longer active) - it might help to eliminate a small bit of noise as well, if new members see that any particular issue was voted on, especially if a total number of votes can be included.

A poll archive is on my "to do" list, but it's going to have to take a back seat to a lot of other things for the time being.
