Traveling at speeds in excess of 90 mph, that's a good thing. Notice any sudden changes in direction on Millennium Force?

Well, sure. They're not "open" as, say, an Intamin hyper/giga train, no. When I say "open," I'm referring to the fact that there's no headrests, over the shoulder restraints, intrusive lapbars, etc. Basically, I'm comparing them to SP's trains. ;)

And oh, in regards to Laser Loop's station... I don't know if the entire station was salvaged thru the Steel Phantom's Revenge years, but I'm almost sure the roof was.

The only Morgan steel coaster train I have been on is the Santa Monica Westcoaster train. It is the same as their regular hyper coaster trains and I have to agree, they are not very good. They are plain and unoriginal looking and lack comfort. They are many times better than the Morgan wood coaster trains, but they are nothing compared to B&M hyper trains or Giovanola (sp?) trains!!!

StealthmF5m3, they are not Chance-Morgan. They are Morgan trains. The acusistion of Morgan by Chance does not make the old rides Chance-Morgan. They are the park's rides, and they are designed by Morgan. Chance did not go back in time and add thier name to it, so they are only Morgan trains. It is the same concept as if a software company buys out another software company. Lets take a fictional example, Activision aquires EA. EA games such as The Sims are EA games, not Activision-EA. The label still says EA, not Activision-EA, so it is EA. The same applies to coasters.

Well I must be missing something, when I was on Steel Force adn we in the "hang time" zone, I could see the drop(from the front seat of course).

i just think the morgan's giga trains are just PURE UGLY. they just look like possessed hyper coaster trains, i LOVE the kind of track they used on steel dragon, but not the trains.

Millennium Force: The Future's Riding On It

There are positives and negatives to the car design. I just rode Steel Dragon, and the ride, while windy, never muted my wife's screams! Millennium Force was sooooo windy, I couldn't hear my own yelling, let alone anyone else. It also seemed that the Morgan trains had a lot more space. I am quite tall, and typically in my visits to Japan, I suffer greatly in most of the trains I ride in. The Morgan was a pleasure, and although I never felt immediate danger, the rides height provided the thrill. I think that people are getting used to 'open' cabin designs (Medusa, Millennium Force, etc.) and upon riding in a more traditional car, feel a little too safe. I don't mind personally. I do, however, like the fear factor built into the open environment trains. To each his own...

On Steel Eel, I hated the trains for the fact that if you had your arms up, if you didn't keep them straight up consciously they would slam down on drops and I have hit my funnybone on the outer part of the train numerous times. Hate that, but after that I always remember to be careful.

Ok, it is just trains people...Don't get your tighty whitys in a bunch!:)

Even Pacific Park's Santa Monica Westcoaster trains are the normal Morgan hyper coaster trains. They are huge and not made for the little ones who ride the ride. Those trains are horrible.

Morgan trains are too big and bulky for my tastes. I like B&M hypercoaster trains and Intamin hyper/giga trains.

Those Morgan trains were the absolutely more horrid trains I've seen (next to PTC's steel coaster train). It looks as if it would take into flight in the middle of the ride... Talk about rampy.

I found Steel Dragon to be an amazing ride. I enjoyed it even more than Millenium Force. The train was fine. It was very fast, and only a lap bar holds you in your seat. Great air time and awesome g's make this world class. The special on TV doesn't do this ride justice, at all.

I think we need to re-clarify the fact that Chance Industries did not buy Morgan. Micheal Chance bought Morgan. Chance Industries is his father's company. While the family is the same, they are not the same company. At this time it remains to be seen what kind of co-operation will happen between the two firms. *** This post was edited by Dutchman on 7/29/2001. ***
