State issues shutdown order for Carowinds' Fury 325 due to foundation issue

I'd argue that Fury is not the only reason to visit that park, but I'd be extremely disappointed if it weren't open when I visit. It is one of the greatest coasters ever built at a park that is very sterile and samey of all the other Cedar Fair legacy parks.

I mean it was already shut down, but this gives some government beaurocrat an opportunity to get his mug on TV to pretend he's doing something to save people from the evil amusement industry.

I don't know. If I want to make reinforcements to the foundation of my house, the permit requires a final inspection to make sure that the contractor did the job properly. This is probably more important to get right.

This kind of work was always going to need a final inspection from the local municipality. Whomever this politician is is just acting like he's the reason behind something that was going to happen anyway.
