Looks like at some recent point Velocicoaster took over the top spot which Steel Vengeance has held for quite a while. It's by literally a fraction of a star rating for either ride so any new rating can swing it either way. Friendly reminder to rate your coasters and vote in the 2026 Elections. Your voice matters, especially when it comes to Florida and Ohio related things.

We're not going to have elections in 2026.

Credibility by definition is not when three nerds with satin jackets get to decide for everyone what's cool.

Not a good look when one of the best coasters in the world hasn’t been ridden enough to make the list...
It's not a good look for the coaster, not the list. If it was the park's goal to be on the CoasterBuzz Top 100, it would serve them well to do something to attract more coaster enthusiasts.
What if only ten people rode AFO? And the number one coaster had hundred's more riders? Even if all ten people loved AFO, which coaster belongs higher on the list?

I started a snarky response yesterday and killed it, but, seriously, "objectively"? My top three favorite coasters are probably The Beast, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, and Disneyland Space Mountain. Fit that into your objective model.
(My snarky post was: Imagine a coaster - let's call it Hair Force One - that a few hardcore coaster wackos love, all of them rate it five stars, even though a third of them pass out during the ride because it's so intense. And the rest of the voters say "just looking at Hair Force One makes me feel sick." So this one rockets to the top of the list with twenty five-star votes, even though four thousand other voters would rate it a zero if they dared to ride it?
But other poasters have made that point more sensibly than I have.)
As I get older it’s extremely hard for new rides to crack my top 10, and next to impossible to crack the top 5, just because I have so many memories on my top 5 that I can’t be objective anymore. That’s why I only pay attention to the way other people describe the rides. If everyone is blown away by a ride, I have high expectations, otherwise I just have middle ones. If you are wondering about what rides have cracked my top 10 post Covid, it’s Veliciocoaster and Alpenfury.
2026 Trips: Universal Orlando, Dollywood, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World San Antonio, Sea World Orlando, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Walt Disney World, Silver Dollar City
I have friends that have made the trip from Orlando and/or Northeast Ohio to Fun Spot Atlanta to spend a few hours power riding Arie Force One at a park that is apparently always dead.
They can't believe I haven't bothered to take a day or two to do the same thing. Meanwhile, I can't believe they have.
