Six Flags, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: SIXFQ) announced today that its overall guest approval ratings through mid-July of the 2009 peak operating season remain at or above all-time highs, maintaining last year's record scores. Guests rate Six Flags highest on product offering, atmosphere and safety.
The surveys were conducted by independent firm Delta Market Research of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, a nationally recognized company that has researched all aspects of the theme park industry for companies including The Walt Disney Company. These results reflect input from guests at 12 Six Flags branded locations.
Key areas in which guests rate the performance of Six Flags parks at or above all-time high levels included:
"Now more than ever, families are looking for value and experiences they can share together," said Mark Quenzel, Six Flags Executive Vice President of Park Strategy and Management. "Our guests recognize and applaud the improvements we've made over the last 3 years, consistently ranking our product, service and safe environment as tops in the industry."
Additionally, 79% of guests stated they definitely will recommend Six Flags to a friend and 73% definitely will visit again this season or next year.
Quenzel added, "I'm particularly pleased we achieved record high scores for Overall Guest Satisfaction and Value for the Money. A value proposition like ours is paramount in this economic climate and we are committed to building on that for years to come."
