Muskegon and Michigan's Adventure use Tim Allen to lure Detroiters

Posted | Contributed by Jason Hammond

The soothing voice of actor Tim Allen and text that reads like a Robert Frost poem will be urging people who live in the Detroit area to head for Muskegon. It's part of a radio advertising campaign created by McCann Erickson, touting some of the wonders of this state. It will include 225 radio spots over the next four weeks in southeastern Michigan. Muskegon's ads will promote its beach and water activities and Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park.
