Well I can't be bothered listing all the parks I've been to this year, but here's how I've progressed over the last few years:

2000: 78 coasters - 15 parks.
2001: 166 coasters - 27 parks.
2002: 179 coasters - 40 parks.
2003: 182 coasters - 44 parks.

Joe you beat me by 3 coasters.

My Track Record now stands at 465.

Rollocoast - I'm not the freak! :)
Ok so you guys with around 500 tracks in your record quit rubbing it in. I just have 326 in mine. :( However, I know that is a lot better than most of this board.

The funny thing about this season, is that this was the cheapest coaster conquest that I have ever had. I was armed with 4 different season passports and I only had to pay for just a few parks. Man those things are gold when it comes to "extreme park hopping".

Kind of a slow year...

July - Camp Snoopy

About 6 trips to SFGAm

  • About 10 laps on Bull
  • A couple on Batman
  • One or Two on V2
  • Not enough (9) on Viper
  • A few AE Backwards
  • 6 On Whizzer
  • 6 or so on Superman
  • 1 (too many) on Deja Vu
  • 1 (too many) on Iron Wolf

SFStL - August

  • The Boss
  • River King Mine Train
  • 2 on Screamin Eagle

Hopefully more next year!!!

"Welcome to Wisconsin... Illinois' Largest State Park."
The parks I did this year were: Sfmm, Knott's, DL, DCA, Cliff's, Las Vegas, Buffalo Bills

The 'New to me' coasters were: Scream, Galaxi, NM Rattler, Matthattan Express, Speed the Ride, Canyon Blaster, High Roller, Desperado

So far I've been on 99 coasters in 19 parks

Well, I am not old enough to drive, so I have to rely on my parents to get around and I managed to get to 4 different parks including the following:

SFSTL

SFGAM

SFKK

PKI....

I went to SFGAM 4 times and the rest once. I have ridden 60 coasters in my lifetime and hope to add much more as I will soon be able to drive!

Six Flags Great America Rocks!
Like Matt(mil. force freak!!)I must rely on my parent or my coaster buddie's parents for a ride to whereever I want to go.

This year i have gone to: SFMM, KBF, DLR(both DL and Cali Adv.), Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk,Belmont Park and a few fairs/carnivals

This was my last year of relying on parents for coastering trips, so I plan on 2004 being a much more sucessful year. I made it to four parks in 2003, all but one I had been to. I made it to PKI two times, the Myrtle Beach Pavilion, Family Kingdom, and Myrtle Beach Grand Prix. I had never been to the Grand Prix before, so I got to ride the spinning mouse they have there, that was my only new coaster for the year. There were a couple of notable non-coaster highlights: Delirium at PKI, that thing is awesome, and the skycoaster at PKI. 2003 was a fun year, but I hope to hit many more parks in 2004.
I had a way to busy summer and only managed to hit 3 parks.

PKI * 2
Cedar Point * 10
Indiana Beach * 1
And I got to sit in a deserted Whalom Park Parking lot on a Thanksgiving trip to my aunts in New Hampshire.

Much less then last year when I hit 8 or 9 parks a total of 19 times or more.

Sounds like everyone had a pretty good coaster riding year. I guess I did better than I thought. In total I attended 15 parks (9 new) and rode 37 (21 new) coasters. Most of the new parks were small.

The parks I attended were: Casino Pier, Funtown Pier, Funtown Splashtown USA, Jenkinson's Boardwalk, Keansburg AP, LaRonde, Lake Compounce, Palace Playland, Playland AP, Quassy AP, SFGAdv, SFNE, Great Escape, Steel Pier, and York's Wild Kingdom.

I hope to get to more of the larger parks next year. *** Edited 12/29/2003 1:12:48 PM UTC by Crazy4Airtime***

284 coasters and counting.

Well, unfortuntately, every time I went to plan a trip, work, being poor, or something else jumped in the way. I only visited 2 parks this year, but on the up side, half of the parks I visited were new to me;).

Carowinds in May, and I got to ride every coaster added since my last visit in 99, and got to add more laps on Top Gun, I was not disapointed, and very happy to return to Carowinds.

Kennywood in Oct. to introduce myself to my new home park. Got all the coasters there 'cept lil' Phantom and Exterminator, but had a great time.

even though I didn't do much this year, I'm happy to finally do Kennywood, and looking to my confirmed trips to CP, SFWoA, and possibly PKI and PKD next year, and am definitly doing Kennywood and Carowinds, and hopefully Myrtle Beach, and slightly possibly Fla. and/or SoCal parks.

13 Parks, 73 coasters, 30 new coasters. Pretty good for us. There were a couple parks that we normally go to every year that we missed this year. That won't happen again next year, which is shaping up quite nicely, I might add.
95 coasters (52 new!) at 20 parks (counting Vegas as one "park").

I visited 8 parks, 1 which was new to me. SFGAm, KBF (which was new), SFMM, CP, Magic Kingdom, MGM, EPCOT, USF and IOA. rode a bunch of new rides-too lazy to count right now-but somewhere around 12 or 13 NEW coasters, and repeats on all the old ones like 20, and a handful of flats and dark rides, such as the fabulous mission space. *** Edited 12/29/2003 9:33:45 PM UTC by Turbo***

This was a banner year for coasters for me. Being sent out to California for business didn't hurt. Anyhoo, I hit 19 parks this season, 10 of which were new to me parks. I hit countless coasters of which 40 of em were brand spanking new additions to my track record.

The parks were in order of first visit of the year...

Animal Kingdom, Seaworld Orlando, Old Town, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Disney MGM Studios, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World, Big Chiefs Carts and Coasters, Knott's, Belmont Park, Pacific Park, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, Valleyfair!, and Camp Snoopy @ Mall of America.

I increased my track record to a grand total of 110 coasters and hit my 100th coaster on the historic Matterhorn at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

I also hit my first enthusiast events this year and enjoyed them immensly.

Looking forward to a promising 2004 season beginning with the Dania Beach Hurricane!

Certain victory.

In my life I have visited...
Cedar Point
SFWoA
Kings Island
SFKK
Kennywood
SFGAm
Michigan's Adventure
Magic Kingdom
Universal(orlando)

It's not much compared to all of you. I "only" rode about 68 coasters in my life. This year I went to CP, SFWOA, MI. Adventure, and SFGAm. It was a fairly good year.
