Your Personal Goals?

I met a guy named Adam last year and he has a goal of being the first person to get a 1000 laps in on MF. He has 920 laps in and hopes to reach 1000 early this year closing day at CP. I saw his name (adamforce) in the meeting calendar and it made me wonder how many people have there own little (coaster related) personal goals that they would like to accomplish? Some may say "Who Cares" but I know that a lot of people have their own goals and I was just wondering what they are? I really don't have a goal other than maybe getting a rollback on TTD.

#1 Steel: Sky Rush
#1 Wood: Voyage
#1Park: Holiday World

Coaster related?

Simple... Ride more coasters. Other than that... none really.

My goal is to get my dad to let us have a Cedar Fair season pass even though we live 8 hours from Cedar Point.

But then Dorney is only 3.5 hours so we could start going there instead of Six Flags Darien Lake.

Yes I'm boycotting that place.

Hehe, I always try to get to new wood *pretty soon* after opening....like I told the lady selling souvies at Celebration City, "You build a new wooden coaster, we pay for it"...:)

I figured this *plan of sorts* out after blowing an entire trip to NorCal for Stealth in 2000, then reliving the Xperience at SoCalCon....wood's not only better, it's also WAY more reliable...;)

^usually. I drove from MN to Thunderhead to have it close an hour and a half after I got to the park due to rain. Tennessee Tornado was open all day though. Apparently TH was running too fast in the rain, hitting the brakes too hard, and they could not have that. But I got in some good rides before that.

Right now my goal is to ride Hades. *** Edited 4/29/2005 6:54:29 PM UTC by RavenTTD***

My goal for this summer is to ride 100 different coasters.

I think I added up 125+ possible if i hit every park on my plans

You better hope the gas prices go down..
My goal is to see as much of the United States, and then as much of the world, as I can before I die.

If I can ride a few new coasters in the process, all the better. But that's a secondary concern.

My goals change from year to year. This year my goal is to visit an area of the US I've never been to: the bible belt. I'll reach that goal this June when I visit SFOG, Wild Adventures, Myrtle Beach, Carowinds, Dollywood, Lake Winnie, and Visionland.

LOOK OUT! Moosh is going to the bible belt!

They aren't ready for that ;-)

No stops at Camden, Moosh? Talk about 'Bible Belt'...

My coaster goal for the year is to ride Kingda Ka just to say I have, finally get to Florida since I've now been to California (one goal realized), and hopefully get back to some parks I haven't done in a while, as well as a couple new ones. I'm going to Camden before the summer is out, darn it!

My long term coaster goals include coasting in Japan, then Europe, then Africa and Aus-land. Along the way spending more time in Egypt not riding coasters, as well as way more time in Japan, Paris, and Italy not riding coasters, but eating and sightseeing.

I should hit 200 this year. I started out at 94 for Solace/Vegas week, and after that I'm up to 123. I won't get any new credits at Carowinds next month, but if I ho out enough kiddie credits, I'll have new credits everywhere I go this summer, including Myrtle Beach.
My goal for this season is to get 200 laps on The Mamba at WoF. I'm at 36 right now for this season and they're still only open on weekends.
My goal for this summer is to ride some of the coasters that I haven't rode or have yet to ride in a few years such as Raging Bull, Superman: Ultimate Flight, Shivering Timbers, and Dominator. God I miss those rides.

Another thing I hope to do is isit one park I haven't been to yet, so we'll see how that goes for me. Not gonna be a big year for expanding my coaster count, but nonetheless, I would like it to be the most fun year. *** Edited 4/29/2005 10:30:22 PM UTC by TopThrillBobby***

My Goal to ride all of CP's coasters, havn't been in a while and because of money this year I can go to the park! Oh, and then theres Geauga Lake *easy goals, cough, cough* ;)
My goal is to reach all of your goals before all of you

I'll definately be nailing #200 this summer, which wasn't really a goal, but more of an accomplishment I'm looking forward to (read: goal ;)). I leave the day after graduation for California!

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
Gas prices won't hurt too bad. 1900 miles in a car that gets 25 to the gallon. Split the cost between 2 people. We already have the season passes for PP, SF and CF so that cost is gone. Now all I need to work on is rooms and the tickets for the other parks.

oh and food! *** Edited 4/30/2005 3:37:18 AM UTC by dragonoffrost***
