Your first coaster of the new season.

I know for me the very first time i ride a coaster the first time the new year it is one of the best coaster experiences. last year i rode mind eraser (SLC) for my first ride, and it was almost as good as Nitro for the first time. This year I plan on riding something like S:ROS or Batwing instead. How many of you guys love the first coaster ride of the season practically the best?

-----------------
Are roller coasters my life? NO, but I certainly like them!

I plan on riding Wild one as my first coaster of the season and I always look forward to the first ride of the season as the best.
I rode X as the first ride this season.... but at my homepark I get ERT on S:RoS to start the season =D

My first coaster ride of this season, was Son of Beast. I rode it on 4/4/2002, and it was a great ride. I hope that is continues to run as good as it did, on my first ride of the season :).

I can only en-vision the mayhem as the park employees let down the gate and everybody jets over to De Javu. I can't wait to ride it, it will be my ninth time, but if i get to SFGAm late then I will prob. hit the Bull first.

Ride Raging Bull, De javu, V2, or Batman. Decisions Decisions.

Hey Aaron that was my first ride too, on the same night. I thought it was running really well and think its really coming around to be a great ride. I also went back on saturday and the ride ops said it was clocked that day at 88, i know wow. It was running realy fast and smooth. I used to not like it that much but I really liked the layout for some reason better this year. I ended up getting 15 rides on SOB saturday due to the gold pass twilight rides. With the wind and cold this thing was awesome, can't wait to go back and add on to my count on it for the year.

First Coaster: Incredible Hulk

First Park: IOA

This will be the first time I will be riding a coaster in the new season for the first time as an enthusiast. I became an enthusiast at the beginning of the season so I never had to go crazy for 6 months during the off season like now. As for last year it was still cool to get to ride one. Starting off with S:UE last year. It was just like the time before that I was at the park (the time before being my first).

Millennium Force......It has its ups and downs.

I'm with OzzyHead, my first ride of the season was The Incredible Hulk... mmmmm. Beautiful piece of B&M machinery :)

***Why can't all parks have a Millennium Force ?***

I hope to start with Phantom's Revenge... At my home park CP (on the next day even), I'm guessing Wicked Twister, Mantis, or Magnum.
First ride this year was Incredible Hulk at IOA. Gotta say though, I rode Fire later that night and it was wild. No lights out there in that part of the park and Fire was on the lose. I then went and rode Hulk again right afterwards, front seat, and I must say I enjoyed Fire in the back seat more than Hulk in the front seat. Go figure.

I've just seen the future...what was I saying?

First coaster was Pepsi Ripsaw at KCS just hours into 2002. It wasn't planned.

First "big" coaster was Kraken on January 7th. However, the first coaster to really start the season will be something at SFGAm, either Raging Bull or Deja Vu (if it's not too cold to operate in the morning!). There's a possibility I may end up riding Cyclops or Zeus first, however.

Way back in March (hoping it makes summer seem closer), I made a voyage to SC. My first for 2002 was the Mad Mouse at South Of The Border, followed immediately with all other coasters around the Myrtle Beach area, and Carowinds. What a way to start the year!

Batman: The Dark Knight at SFNE-but ONLY because the lines for that will be long all day! Mind you, I will be dashing to S:RoS after my first ride on B:TDK. B&Ms are awesome, yes, but something about S:RoS (SFNE)...drives me nuts, that 210 ft. drop and all that airtime and those incredible helixes, I love it! Then I'll go off to the other coasters like Cyclone, Mind Eraser (ugh!), and Flashback (ugh! ugh!).

I am planning on it being Volcano or Flight of Fear at PKD. If Volcano has a long wait I'll ride Flight of Fear because I'm about to go crazy if I don't ride a coaster soon. I'm going with a friend to PKD either this weekend or the last weekend this month.
