My first Boomerang ride was at SFMW. It was ok, nothing spectacular. When I got off, I remember thinking that it wasn't that good. Probably because I went onInvertigo at PGA the day before. Sure Invertigo and Boomerang may be the same ride only one is inverted, but at least on Invertigo, you can see the person in front of you which adds to the fun.
I can sympathize, Jess, with the getting sick part. I get a little queasy going backwards or if I can't see where I'm going on a coaster.

My current top 5:
1)Goliath 2)Vertical Velocity(SFMW) 3)Medusa(SFMW) 4)Stealth (PGA) 5)Riddler's Revenge

The Sea Serpent, in Wildwood,NJ was my 1st boomerang.

Definite favorite cause of its placement, and its great nightime view of Wildwood. What a beautiful sight!

Zydeco Scream at Jazzland.  If that's a smooth one, I'd hate to ride a rough one.  It just screams old school coaster.  Call me crazy, but that's just not for me.  Gimme Mega Zeph if I gotta go there.  Now they're building a Serial Thriller clone.  Vekoma is like kudzu, let it anywhere in your park and it spreads like wildfire.

I rode "X" and never went upside down.
Last July I went on my first boomerang at Sfmw, Boomerang Coaster to Coaster. I remember the first drop was a lot better then i though, It went up the chain lift at at steep angle which is pretty scary, Then it dropped and went through the station which was really cool because it was a bit dark and kind of blurry. It seemed really fast. (Max Speed is only 48 mph! according to sixflags) The boomerang inversion was a bit dizzy but fun. It went to another chain lift and did the whole thing backwards. The loop was really scary because i thought i was going to fall off so I was holding on for dear life. Then after the boomerang part i expected it to end but instead it went up the first lift hill and did a small drop again which was fun. I enjoyed the whole ride. I would be glad enough to have one in my house or at least in a themepark here in singapore.
Wouldn't it be cool if B&M made a boomerang coaster, They could make it really large. The lift hill could be 150 ft and when it dropped it could go up this really huge half loop into the corkscrew, Another corkscrew through the half loop and then a large loop and it does the whole thing backwards. I'm sure it would be really smooth and the restraints would be comfortable.
The Bat at Canada's Wonderland. I thought it was the bomb then
My first ride was the Bat at PCW, and I loved it so much. I rode it 18 times in one day!

Boomerangs are sill fun, but the wait is ludicrous..

Invertigo at PGA was my first and spoiled me. Other "standard" boomerangs just are'nt as good.
Mines was when I was in the second grade and my school went on a trip to KBF. That was when Boomerang was new and I was so scared to ride it. All I did was look at my friends ride it, they said it was fun but I was still to scared to ride it. Finally by the end of the day after chickening out on Monte and debating should I ride it or not I decided not to. It was something about that launch that scared me. So I said to myself I got to ride on of the coasters so I went in line for Monte again but got scared again so I went on Boomerang instead and I enjoyed it. It was so much fun. I love Boomerangs. I rode the one at SFMW 15 times in a row.

The first shuttle coaster I've ever sighted is a Vekoma Bommerang of PCW.
I've never rode a bommerang.
I've never ridden on it because I'm not bothering with its insane (slow moving) lines.  Besides, it's not gonna worth the extreme wait, as I can see how vekoma bommerangs are so bad.
