When I was 8, I barely reached the 48 inch. mark and was allowed on all the rides with that rule. I had just moved to Louisville, Kentucky, and my first boomerang was The Vampire at Kentuck Kingdom (before Six Flags bought the park). I remember it being fairly bumpy, but since it was my first experience on a looping coaster, I rode it eight straight times. What was anyone elses first boomerang coaster?
I went on an all day thing with my church and I was only like 7 and when we got to Boomerang, they checked if I was tall enough or not at the entrance. They said I wasn't and of course, I was bumbed. So after just waiting for a minute, I ran into the line and went behind them. They said I had a super slim chance to be tall enough to go on. Well when it was my turn to get in, the lady told me to stand next to the pole. I barely made it. I was so excited. It was the best boomerang ride ever. For now.
