Your Fantasy Park

Ok, I just started reading and posting on here, so I don't know how many times this has been discuessed.....but think of what you would want your dream park to be. Your starting from scratch. Where would you put it.....and what would you start off with...and what would you add the first 6 years of the park? And be reasonable......your not gonna profit with a 4-D coaster and a flying coaster the first year.

I would put my park in Mississippi, just south of Memphis, where all of the casinos are located. I would start out small with only a GCI Wooden coaster, a Wild Mouse, and a family/junior coaster.

Then I would add 4 new coasters over the next 6 years. They would be........

B & M Inverted

Intamin Steel Looping

Arrow Flying

Arrow Suspended

Park Name: Dixieland

-----------------
Six Flags Jazzland!

Arrow Flying??

I second the arrow flying?

-----------------
84 coasters and counting

Maybe he meant Vekoma.

-----------------
Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK

Back on topic...

Since living in Ohio we already are saturated with parks so I would consider building a new park in Nashville as a replacement for Opryland.

Open with a GCI wood twister, Vekoma Roller Skater (like Woodstock at CP), and Vekoma Invertigo (which I find much more fun than the standard boomer).

Within the first ten years I would like to add a B&M invert, Intamin hyper, and Intamin Impulse.

Within the first five years I would add a water park.

My fantasy park would be a park that was just for big kids. Adults only!

The youngest people in the park would be most of the employees and most of them would be female between the ages of 18 to 25, very fit and large breast implants would be a definite plus!

Would start with three steel(giga, hyper, lim) and three wood coasters(hyper, terrain, racing) , minetrain, general flats, two skyscrapers side by side, space shot, log flume and dark ride.

Games in park would consist of slot machines, blackjack tables, poker tables, etc.....you get the idea.

Shows in park would consist of strip clubs and clubs for bands of many different styles of music with the exception of country music. Absolutely no country music!

Alcohol and smoking will be permitted thru out the park, and not just smoking ciggies, in my fantasy the gift that God gave us is very much legal.(weird how something that grows natural upon this planet is illegal, that just seems kind of un-natural)

And during the very hot summer months the park will open at dusk and close just after sunrise.

A recreation of Sodom and Gomorrah if you will

So far, I like pkie's park the best....but ya gotta add in a water park too. Bathing suits optional. That way you can open earlier during the hot summer months.

Location - a tough call. Preferably some place east of the Mississippi in the upper mid-west [OH, PA, MI]. Perhaps the Detroit/Ann Arbor area?

My park would be a combination of a traditional park and a theme park, in the same vein as Holiday World. In other words it would have themed areas but have a traditional feel and flavor to it.

The park would open with these sections [with expansion in later years] arranged around a traditional loop layout:

Entrance Plaza – the usual: stores, lockers, guest services, restaurants. Also a station for the Steam train that circles the park.

Luna Park - similar in style to Lost Kennywood. Lots of 1920’s art deco architecture and neon. Rides in this section would include a Shoot-the-Chutes, Whip, Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Flyers, Flying Coaster [aka Kangaroo @ Kennywood], Paratrooper, Lusse Bumper Cars, and a GCI twister.

Europe – cobblestone streets lined with stores, restaurants, and fountains. This area would contain a ride-thru Sally interactive Haunted House, a Rapids ride, Bayurn Curve, Wave Swinger, a Tea Cups-type ride, and a B&M inverted, with all queues hidden behind the facades of the buildings that line the street. The second train station is also located in this area.

American Midway – 50’s style architecture and a mix of classic and new flats, such as a Tilt-o-Whirl, Zipper, Flying Bobs, Trabant, Music Express, Chaos, Top Spin, Frisbee...you get the picture. Two coasters in this section: an Arrow mouse and a Gravity Group out-n-back. Also home to an Old Mill-type flume [built under the coaster, of course] w/ a splashdown finale, a fun house, and a 50's style restaurant. Down the middle of the midway are lush planters, benches, and fountains. A Sky ride runs down the middle connecting both ends, inspired by Cincy's old Coney Island. Traditional games would be found here, too, like Skee-Ball and Fascination.

Kiddy Park - for the little ones, this are would include a Herschel kiddy coaster similar to High Speed Thrill Coaster.

My park would simply be filled with every lost wooden coaster i could think of.

Park: "Middle of Nowhere"

Location: Unmanned oil rig in Atlantic Ocean, 1/2 acre.

Rides: Start with an Intamin second-gen drop ride.

Year 2: Add paddleboats.

Year 3: Replace drop ride with taller drop ride.

Year 4: Add tree.

Year 5: Add drink stall. Remove tree.

Year 6: Add bench. Move drop ride to make room.

Year 7: Add parking lot. Remove everything else. Charge $9 to park.

He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking; can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding.

My dream park would be in New York City (Coney Island-perhaps), This park would have rides and all buildings designed and built by Architects and artists, in conjunction with the traditional ride manufacturers. The "theme" of the park would be how flippin creative we could make things look. All of the buildings would be commissioned to a world famous architects so that there would be no dang cheesy "Theme". (ie western or blah blah)

The whole place would have art installations and sculpture everywhere. But of course the rides would be awsome.

After 15 years I think you would want to have other rides because new coasters like X will be coming out.
