#3 Avoiding Six Flags

This is my goal every year so I don't think it counts for me.

Oh, I definitely want to hit one of the 'big' SF parks this year - probably Great Adventure. The last couple of seasons we've visited the smaller ones and been resonably pleased. I want to see if the bigger parks deliver any discernable changes (for the better) over 2 or 3 seasons ago or whether the small parks we've hit tended to be of the 'better in the first place' variety.

Ravine Flyer II is at the top of my list because its not to far away from my home and i don't have a huge budget this year. Ill try and see what else I can squeeze in this year. I also want to hit Flying Turns.

Its sad when your best friend asks you the exact running time of a ride. Good thing I didnt know.

I'll be happy if I can just use my CP Platinum Pass once or twice, let alone ride a different/new coaster this year.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

This Spring and summer is gonna be all about coasters that i have not been on.I am planning some great trips. These are the 3 that I cant wait to ride.

#1 The Voyage!

#2 Boulder Dash!

#3 Hades!

I also have to do the Beast at night.I wish Kings Island would post there new hours for 2008 already!!!

^Ahh..., but weren't you the one who said you'd give Great Adventure a chance this year

Indeed I was. I'll go down and suffer through whatever happens to get on El Toro (and whatever else is running at all and/or running more than one train).

Just because it's a goal doesn't mean I'll achieve it. :)

Gonch: I let you waste - I mean spend - your money first. If you give SF the thumbs-up I may return to visiting in 2009 ;)

I live in eastern pa (Schuylkill County... try and pronounce that one) and I am lucky enough that I recieevd Hershey Park, Dorney Platinum, and Six flags season passes for Christmas.

I plan on using them to the fullest. I will be everywhere!

AnyWhere they didn't build a water slide!
I'm looking forward to going to cedar point for round 2 to ride Maverick. Plus this will be my bride to be first trip outside of Wood Country of Indiana and King's Island.

I'm curious to see what Steel Hawg will be like, but the ride I'm really waiting on is Ravine II. Can't wait. I did get us six flags passes renewed. New England area here we come.

Neone think Evil Knievel be any good?

^ I love taking people to CP for the first time! People are always amazed by how beautiful the park is, not to mention the best collection of coasters in the world. You guys will have a blast!

Top 5, in no particular order: 1. MF 2. Maverick, 3. Kraken 3. El Toro, 4. TTD 5. Superman Krypton Coaster Top overrated coasters: 1. Incredible Hulk (Boooooring!) 2. Nitro 3. Expedition G-force 4. Goliath(SFMM) 5. Any Dive Coaster

It's counterpart in Europe is supposedly really great, so there should be little doubt.

I haven't exactly decided where we are going to stay. I can't wait, she should love it!!!

Yeah Matt, I say your right considering who's making it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Thanks

This may sound weird, but my goal for '08 is to try and get laps on every operating US woodie I don't yet have. Doubtful, but I *might* even get lucky and finish off LaRonde and SFM to get the remainder in N. America....

Yeah, I'm one of those who thinks wooden coasters ARE where it's at... ;)

My goal is to hit 50 coasters by the end of the year. Which if I take this trip in May, I will hit it. My new parks for this year hopefully will be, Beech bend in April, Cedar Point in May, and Knoebel's in Oct.

My goal this year is to get to a park outside of NY/NJ/PA/CT. Except for my annual visit(s) to SFGadv, I have nothing definite.

You won't see me coming...

Indiana Beach, SFGA and Coney Island. Hopeful for Mt Olympus, Kennywood and Waldameer. *** Edited 1/7/2008 12:08:55 AM UTC by Steve Perry***

Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Over-Mid America, Indiana Beach, Cedar Point (CoasterMania or BooBuzz or both!), Kings Island, Coney Island, Stricker's Grove, and possible more parks? Mmm...

I may not do all of them but definite Kings Island, Cedar Point, Indiana Beach and Six Flags Great America.

If anyone is hitting Indiana Beach in June or August, let me know.

I am hoping to make it back to my hometown for the opening of the Ravine Flyer II at Waldameer. Being from the area I've kept tabs on this for years, and I'm very excited for the park.

I've been wanting to get back to Hershey for a couple years now, but can't ever seem to swing it. I'm hoping to maybe do a day-trip there this summer.

Unfortunately, this won't be a big year for coaster trips. I've got a big conference in Miami in July (good lord who was the rocket scientist that thought that would be a good idea????) and that's going to eat up mucho $$$.

^Tiggerman....swing by and ht DBH - right on I-95 and WELL worth your effort. While you're there, there's Uncle Bernie's at the Swap Shop about 5-10 minutes away...a powered Dragon Wagon and a fairly-rare Molina kiddie.
