Yikes! I hope they get this fixed!

Actually, Gonch, It ranks high up there on my list too. One of the smoother old school Arrow Loopers I've done.
I was pretty impressed with GASM at SFGADV this summer... in 2002, it had beated me up pretty bad (worst than Viper at the same park!).

This year? No headbanging! Even that dreadful transition was smooth! Wonder what happen...

Actually I am with Antuan. I can't get my eyes off of the barren wasteland in the foreground

I barely noticed the missing track. ;-)

The evil transition on SFGAm's Shockwave was fine if you sat in the back row. You never felt the jolt. I am sure the same would apply to GASM at SFGADv.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

I noticed!

Well, I noticed it felt different, at least. I didn't know they replaced it, though.

I watched them do it. :)

I personally loved PKD more than PKI because it is a great coaster park. The only three coasters I had a problem with was the Hurler, Hypersonic, and Rebel Yell. Anaconda was REALLY cool and I am not easily pleased.
I rode GASM this year in the front seat and had no problems at all. They obviously did some work on the track.
Intamin, with all the rebar, sonotubes (circular "cardboard" tubes), and the stakes visible in the pic, I'd say they drained the lake to do some construction. Looks like they're going to be pouring some concrete.
So the question remains, if they already replaced the bottom of the first drop on Magnum, when will they ever replace the bottom of the first drop on the Gemini?? And a side note, what company supplies the new track--that place in Cincy?
No, S&S takes care of Arrows.
RatherGoodBear what are you talking about? This is a construction picture of Italian Stunt Job, and the topic is refering to the missing rails in the top left corner.

I also remember KD from the old KK days. Couldn't believe my luck when Puyallup happened to have a Giant Slide...*that* was the thing I missed from the old days, not that horrid rotor in the mountain.

rollergator, you must be psychic... or else you can read English. :)

^ Both can't be true? ;) :)
Yes, but it's extremely rare.
