X's drop is nearly complete. And it looks incredible! Nothing else is really going on besides with X. Deja Vu continues to sit, and a few more pieces for Thrill Shot have arrived.
Also, the SFMM photo gallery has been updated with tons of new shots.

You can't run and you can't hide...The Beast at PKI
damn thats an awsome drop. wow that is soooo cool.
holy crap, that drop is going to be so freakin' scary! That looks like it's straight down! Man, I can't wait to ride it in October!
That drop would terrifying enough on a regular coaster where you are seated facing forwards. But now add in the factor that you could be facing backwards or even head down AND backwards.

amen, ravenguy. I nearly wet my pants just from looking at the drop. Now only if I lived a california instead of new york, that would help!
That ride has to be freaky as hell in the front row on the drop!

Let the bears pay the Bear Tax, I pay the Homer Tax.
Yeah that does look incredible, and I am hoping that it brings Arrow back in a big way. I would like to see them developing more coasters than they have been. They often get bashed for their roughness of rides, and I think that will change soon.
One word: TIGHT

BGW and PKD rock!
That has to be one the best (and scariest) drops I've ever seen. I can't wait. And what's best is that I only live an hour from the Mountain.
Here's something to consider: Look at where the control rail is at the peak compared to where it is just before it dumps you over the drop. The difference is huge. Whatever position you peak the lift at, you'll be the opposite when you take the plunge!

I sure do hope SFWoA gets one!

"Welcome back Raptor riders. How was your flight?"
Probably Six Flags will clone, they clone them all.
About the control rails, yes they shift a lot going over that peak. The crazy part is that the cars will already be in position for the drop before the drop. The control rails only move there to keep the car facing the same direction: straight down. You will be looking down, at the ground, near the top of the hump.

I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters

construction is moving along fast. The question is now , when will the ride be complete and open?
even if the ride is complete by early july, they still have to go through a month of testing and delays. just look at what is going on with deja vu. i dont mean to be a pessimist because i want it to open early. but i dont think it will be open till the end of the season.
Magic Mountain is going to be one hell of a sight after all this. It already was back before these two rides were being constructed. When these and Thrill Shot are finished... Man I can't wait.
Schwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!!!!!!!!
