Also keep in mind that they are definately planning on running 2 trains except in the winter weekdays when knott's is a ghost town.
Even though Xcelerator may not have as much capacity per hour as other coasters, the line moves pretty fast for just one train running. I was there on friday and the line was pretty long, I was expecting to wait for at least 2 hours but the wait was only one hour. I am amazed at how fast the line moved with only one train and the ride ops re-checking the lap bars over and over again.
