Xcelerator and Tower of Terror construction update

Knott's has finally announced their 2002 project, Xcelerator. More supports have arrived for the coaster, no new track has arrived in almost two weeks. Inside the park, work walls have been pushed out to allow site prep work as they await Buena Park's City Council to address the ride.

Over at the Disneyland Resort, serious ground movement has begun for the Bug's Town project in California Adventure along with some light ground movement over on the Tower of Terror site.

Well, it doens't make much difference. The drop at DW is still only 13 stories high, so it doens't matter how tall the tower actually is (unless it is 129 feet!)! I'm just happy that park is adding to it's few good rides. Rocking ferris wheel cars are COOL.
