x-flight delay

They`ve been testing (night 10ish) and the station and queue is all done, this seeems a lil' absurd. Maybe Next week.

When I drove by Sunday most of the trains were out of the crates. Only half a train was on the track. There was also lots of ground work going on as well. Of course, that was three days ago now. I would say Memorial Day is a safe bet.

We want the ride to be finished, tested, and running with all trains when they open it to the public.
What we're frustrated about is the inaccurate completion dates given by the parks.
What happened at PKD with Hypersonic only running 1 train is a joke. This happened last year with SOB. At least MF did a better job with that construction page. We all laughed about it in good humor, but MF opened on time, and ran fine later in the year after the wheel problems we're identified.

I really want to visit PKD for Hypersonic, but if they're only running 1 train, have breakdowns, and the ride ops are telling everyone the wait is 3 hours, then why go?
I also want to visit SFMM, but who knows when X will be ready. It seems like all new coasters only run 1 train and have problems the first few months.

There's no excitement like there was last year.
I can't make any definate plans, and to visit the parks, I have to fly. I don't just hop on a plane and go. I book the flight a month in advance and schedule time off work.

Lucky for me, I bought season passes for BGT/SWF and I can drive to Orlando. I have no "fly" trips penciled in on my calendar, only the Orlando ones.

If the parks we're more honest and up front about thier delays and testing schedule, then I could make plans. But we have no clue as to when the rides are going to be ready, and even when they're ready, they only run 1 train and break down. Now I'm not excited about flying to other parks. I'm going to save my money for next year when the rides are finished, because everything is late this year.

I drove around the whole park on Tuesday and X-Flight has a ways to go. The station is not complete, the trains are still in the parking lot, no landscaping, no attractive entrance to the ride, mud and stones all over the parking lot. Thye have there work cut out for them, but they started so late again.
This is so annoying why can't parks just be true and tell us that it won't open on time. If they were smart they would say that it would open late but have it open early to surprise the guests. (so that sounds stupid I dont care)
As of today everything is DONE! they tested during the day yesterday. I don`t care if it`s 1 train operation, there`s no grass yet, or there`s no attractive entrance! I just want to ride it, like most of you should. BTW i wouldn`t trust those SFWoA operators they don`t even know if there`ll be a media day! If you want straight up facts talk to PR, they know what they`re saying! Another BTW there are 2 full trains on the track! And a sign that says X-Flight is already up on top of the station in huge, bold Batman Forever font. IF that ain`t attractive enough then what is. I also think they were building an X-Flight fountain!

Are you really telling the truth CoasterDude, I hope you are, it will make me relax a whole lot more for my trip in June.
Also I was thinking about only visiting the park for 1 day in June, but I dont care, I am definatly gonna visit the park for 2 days now just because of this coaster(with probably spend half of one day on this actual ride, He He)
If they are already testing I would think that things could be up and running this weekend - maybe, but definitly by next weekend. Looks good for my trip on May 19th.

X-Flight is a prototype. Furthermore the station, the most important part of the coaster, was built as the latest part of the coaster. At Batwing Vekoma has built the station as the first part of the coaster. Batwing is almost ready for testing. Next week the test rides of both Flying Dutchmans will begin. Furthermore, Vekoma have sent many workers to SFGam to help the workers there, at the Deja Vu. Over 5 weeks all Vekoma coasters will be open for public. (Batwing, X-Flight, Deja Vu at SFMM, SFOG, SFAmer.)

X-flight is not a prototype. It's a slightly modified version of Stealth, thich was built in 99 for testing, and opened in 2000.
