4000Sqr Ft of WWF Fan Axess like exhibits. Video games, Clothing, etc, NO FOOD. And the 220ft S&S Ride. It is located on Clifton Hill next to the Rainforest Cafe right where the "Ride the Falls" ride is.
It is opening June this summer.
No word on how much the it will cost to ride.

This is definately not a "mock up".
For anybody who has been to Niagara Falls, Ontario... it is a VERY elaborately designed area with entertainment jammed up the wazoo. There are a number of motion simulators, mini-golfs, wax museums, and haunted museums among other attractions.
This WWF ride they are referring to has been in the works for well over a year now. Last year, nobody really knew what it was. All it was, was just a bunch of steel beams. It slowly took shape, but nothing ever formed. To the left, you have Guniess Book of World Records museum. To the right, you have Elvira 4D coaster Dino Island 4D motion simulator. Right in the middle is the Rainforest Cafe... a resturant/bar of sort with aquarium attractions including a large shark exhibit.
Also in the middle is this... the WWF store & ride.
It won't clash with the area either. Standing 220' in the air, it will blend in nicely with the skyline along there and provide a great view of the Falls. They are always adding newer and better attractions in that area to keep family entertainment going & going, and this will work wonderfully.
It will NOT be a theme-park... I can guarantee you that much. Unless they plan something in the future, nothing can fit in that area. It's all tourist attractions already developed. A mile or so down the street, however, is a different story and they could possibly do something in the future... but that doesn't seem to be in the works.
That area is kind of like a mini-Las Vegas geared more family-type entertainment but provides enough fun & entertainment geared specifically for adults as well (ie: casino, night clubs).
Either way, it's going to be a great experience, and I guarantee that it will be a huge success!! I know I can't wait
This gives me another reason to plan a trip to Niagra Falls!

I was there Thursday night and Friday morning. Niagra Falls has been trashed, or it was always that way and I just never realized it. The park areas are still nice and well kept, but overall the area, especially Clifton Hill, is a total zoo and daycare center. I've never seen so many kids in my life. The only refuge is the casino (which is very nice), but there you have to contend with grumpy rude old folks.
Best part of the trip was my falls-view room with the hot tub.
And I imported beer, Heinze Ketchup and Lays Ketchup chips.
If you get a chance, don't miss the Butterfly Conservatory. It's awesome.
