First, for the threadjacking:

I just made a road trip from Boston to HW to Madison, WI, and the entire way, I was sticking around 80mph. I was not the slowest guy out there, but I definitely wasn't the fastest either. Pretty much right in the thick of things, which is exactly how I like it. 'Course, this was in a rental Taurus, which definitely didn't feel as stable at speed as my Celica does, and was decidedly squirmy under braking...yech. No troubles with the fuzz at any point along the trip.

Back on subject, this means I also made my first trip to Holiday World. I think that if I had gone to that park first (I went to Kennywood beforehand), it would have completely shocked me at how incredible it was going there. However, just the difference between Kennywood and SFMM was absolutely amazing. HW was even better, and I'm so glad that I got to go to the park. I went there instead of CP because I had less than a day to work with, and because I'd heard people say that HW is just that much more fun. I'm glad that I did.

And I'm in the camp that thinks the Raven blows the Legend out of the water ;)

I can't wait till I get there on Saturday! I've been waiting for so long to go back to HW. I haven't been since 2000, (during Legend's innaugeral season). I can't wait to ride my two favorite coasters, experience a good old fashioned park, an awesome waterpark, (Here I come Zinga!!), drink lots of free pop, and really, to just go to a park that knows how to show hospitality and respect for it's customers! HW is incredible!
