Now honestly, another point to bring up, why do you think that the SFWoA management will care about your rant/complaint/good points? Do you think that they will actually do something about those problems or just send you back a letter that looks like what Jeremy posted. I say don't waste your breath (computer ink) writing to Six Flags about one thing that could possibly get brung up more than enough each day. Think about it, do you think that your the only one to be rather irked by these problems?

I would be shockingly surprised if Six Flags even thought about replying with something a little more personal or actaully doing something to change it. Don't get me wrong, but this probably goes the same way with every park chain, including Paramount and Cedar Fair. These are small things that you complain about too. Maybe not the rides closing early but I think something will be done about that.

I'm not an 'insider' so I don't know what will actually happen when this letter gets read but I know one of the following will happen. You will either :A)Get a letter back with a generic reply, saying something that sounds like it comes out of a automated recording. B)Six Flags will actually do something about it, maybe post signs saying that the rides will close early. or C) Write a personalized letter back saying that they are sorry and will explain what they are doing to correct those problems.

Just my opinon...Don't take it too seriously. ;)

Just giving my opinion. As Mark W. said, the 7$ words do not impress (even when used correctly).

As far as being overly sensitive of WOA. Never been there. I have been to SFA and SFDL. While a little impressed with SFDL, I found SFA leaving alot to be desired. Personally, I am not exactly fond of SF parks (based on the two I have visited).

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

There is a point to sending a letter to a park where you had a bad experience. Out of the thousand times I have been to xxxxxxxxx, one time I had a bad experience. I felt the need to write a letter. I got a response along with 4 free tickets. This is why their customer service is far above Six Flags.

I left the name out because theres a handful of people on here who would abuse what I have said here. IMO

I've been working in customer service jobs for 30 years. I've always believed if you have had an experience that is less than satisfactory, there is nothing wrong with writing a letter to voice those concerns. Not everyone is a great letter writer. Well written ones tend to be taken more seriously, but all letters will be read. If a business (park) receives many letters with the same complaint, then policies may be changed/altered.

I saw nothing wrong with listing the number of parks and experience in the letter. I didn't take it as bragging, but as listing "qualifications" as basis for comparison. Knowing the writer has visited other parks in the chain and has a familiarity with the policies makes it more understandable why the writer is surprised by a "different" policy at a park in the same chain, especially if the policy is not stated in a clear and obvious manner.

Although I don't see where two of the complaints are warranted, or will be acted upon, I see no reason to bash our fellow CBuzzer for writing his letter, or the way he expressed himself.

For all of you people that haven’t been to other Six Flag parks, or other parks outside your local market, you may not understand some of NitroTX31’s frustrations. WoA is one of the poorest ran parks that I have been to. Look at my track record, I have been around.

I think that would be more appropriate to say that most of us who are extremely disappointed with the park are that way because of the potential that the park could offer. Not to mention the extremely childish ride ops. I was there two weeks ago in line for BKF and witnessed the ride op ineptness personally. Most of the ops on the rides (save the ops on the raging wolf bobs) didn’t give two sh**s about if trains were stacking (and they were only running one or two trains on everything). I saw ops on the phones goofing off, just standing and talking without loading people, and all sorts of, shall I say, childish behavior. That is until a supervisor walked up, then everything seems to change.

It just seems that all of the good Ohio workers (save a select few) who wants to work at a park goes to CP, while the rejects get to WoA

Just my opinion…

Coaster Art of your Favorite Coasters
Coming Soon.....

I enjoy riding coasters at night a great deal. It is a better thrill at night. When a park closes before it is dark, that can be a bit frustrating. But there is no need to get hostile over all of this. I think we should all write letters though, that might clear things up because I know more than just a few of us has had less than satisfactory experiences at SFWoA. I had never been to another 6 flags park, but there is better out there and I know SFGaM is quite a drive, but it's a great park compared to what I've got.

I honestly don't think you have ever bother to read any of the park signage or in the maps. Many of your concerns you addressed are all in there.

I was at work the day of the power failure, for YOUR safety all rides have to be reinspected by maintence to reopen after such an event, even though the power failure was for only a second or two most rides e-stopped, including RWB my coaster, and Grizzly Run my other ride I am in charge of, drained all its water. There just wasnt enough time to get all rides inspected signed off and opened in 10mins, if you could do better, i want to see you try.

About that lady using vulgure language, the park clearly states it reserves the right to remove anyone from the park at any time for being indecent or vulgure, once again, READ!

Carry on items, there once was a time when only at X-Flight no carry on items were aloud, due to manufactuer requirements. Then there was people being hit by flying objects on rides. Once again for YOUR safety and the safety of others around you the park added one more safety measure to try to stop this from happening again. Or maybe ou'll be the one who refuses to follow the rules yet be the first to sue the park if ever hit by something another guests carrys on. Use your head big guy, the world doesn't revolve around you.

To the author of the letter: Batman, Worst case scenario: the ride e-stops the train on the block break and you come to an abrubt hault. Your glasses then either, fall off into the lake, fall off and damage part of the ride or get caught somewhere in the track, or, the glasses fall off and hit a guest waiting in line. It's better to be safe than sorry, and maybe you should think about the parks responsibility to all the guests.
