Why do they report power outages on TV? SANDWICH! Feel free to call me Mack. Or S00perd00perhyper.

Heyy.... the kid's excited ok?

The general strategy is opposite of what the general public does. The GP goes front of park, to back of park. You want to go back to front, that way you avoid crowds and lines.

A few more tips: Around 12-2pm is lunch time, so be sure to avoid food stands and ride the rides instead! Also, if you stay long enough for the Summer Spectacular, if you're really into the rides, go ride them! The majority of the GP watches the SS which translates into shorter lines!

Most of all though, have fun :)

I actually think the run to MF is fun (especially if your in good shape). As your running in the heard people start to get tired and fall behind. It's a pretty long run I bet I was running at least a minute or so before I could even see the station.

is it possible to ride everything in one day?
Jeff has a really good feature on hitting everything in one day at [url="http://www.guidetothepoint.com/"][url="http://www.guidetothepoint.com" target="_blank">http://www.guidetothepoint.com . You should check it out.

My two favorite coasters are named Superman.

oh okay. if anyone knows how to get around cp, its jeff:)

That strategy doesn't factor in the FreeWay booths that have been added this year...Trust me, I've been to CP enough times to know that my strategy works. Take it or leave it, but I know you'll be able to ride everything and have time to spare if you take a right at Corkscrew instead of following the masses.

I've been to Cedar Point 6 of the last 7 seasons and in June, July and August - always a weekday. We've never had a problem hitting all the coasters in one day. Stick to the tried and true "back to front" strategy and you won't even begin to see crowds until you get to the middle of the park.

This year we got (in one day):

2 laps on Raptor
3 on MF
2 on WT (used Freeway)
1 on DT
1 on Wildcat
1 on Iron Dragon
1 on Corkscrew
1 on Woodstock
2 on Magnum
2 on Gemini
1 on CCMR
1 on Mean Streak
1 on Blue Streak
1 on Mantis
We also rode both sides of Power Tower, the Antique Cars, Cedar Downs, a full circle on the CP & LE Railroad and a trip to the top of the Space Spiral.

Not too bad. Of course this was June and the crowds were about average for what I've seen at the park. It certainly could've been much busier that day, but it could've been a lot emptier too.

To sum it up, I don't see why you couldn't ride all the coasters once in a full day.

wow, i hope i can pull that off. we're probably going on a tuesday or wednesday, so there probably shouldn't be much crowd, right?
I live kind of close to Brazil. Want to come and pick me up? That's just some wishful thinking on my part.

Dick Kinzel is pretty serious about making sure you can ride all the coasters in a day....and I've never had a problem doing it (weekday visitor mainly). Congratulations, and remember to take a picture heading across the causeway ....I considered it a pilgrimage to "Coaster Mecca".

BTW, Cedar Downs is NOT to be missed....

AirTime- haha, sure! lol

Everyone else, thanks I'll try to incorporate all your advice into one strategy... BTW My parents gave me the chouce of PKI, CP, of SFWOA... I think i chose wisely...:)

I agree. Whenever given the choice of going to CP or X (where X is any other amusement park or attraction) always choose CP. At least that's how I see it...

True, but if you are a woodie fan, PKI would be your slice of heaven. Riding a legend like The Beast is awesome.
