Woodies: a fine line between out of control & pain

I think that some people just have a very low tolerance for pain, so your opinions on what is painful and what it aggressive will differ greatly.

I feel that the only two woodies I've ever been on that I would never ride again because they literally caused me long-lasting pain are RWB at SFWoA and Psyclone at SFMM. Other than that, even SoB I would ride again if it wasn't boring, because the "pain" didn't last more than a few seconds after I hit the final brakes. I think the duration of the "injury" you sustain on a woodie greatly affects your perception of its pain level.

"Coaster" at Playland in Vancouver was painful for me until I knew when to put my hands down. There's an airtime hill in the middle of the ride that slams your...uh...goodies...into the lapbar if you don't brace yourself.

I still strongly believe that the Ozark Wildcat is THE smoothest wooden coaster out there. Out of the 19 I've ridden.
