Wooden Coaster Surprises

Yea Thunderbolt's first drop is cool since it goes under the Phantom, its also cool when you go down at he same time of the Phantom. jack Rabbit is great and a little more anitcipation while passing the queue on your way to the first drop and up into the tunnel.

Phoenix has a great dark rumbling tunnel before the lift.

The ultimate before the lift wood coaster is Thunderbolt at Kennywood. It zips back and forth across the ravine several times before it finally reaches the lift hill near the end of the ride. I love to catch someone who doesn't know about this and watch the expression on their faces when they hit the first big drop right out of the station.

The most surprising ones for me was the great white underneath the pier and hercules.

Nobody has mentioned the Lakeside Cyclone. While not as good as Giant Dipper's tunnel, it's still fun (and pretty dark, too).

I think Nemesis Inferno's tunnel will definitely be great.

On Daina Beach Hurricane there are those dips before the turn arounds those suprise me there kinda pain ful. On all three coasters at Big Cheif in the WI dells are full of supirses cause the are very poorly desinged and are very painful in my opionin.
