Rioting?! This must have happened when I was participating in ERT. Was there any good looting? I always miss out on the good stuff ;)

Here's a question for the attendees of past Solaces: This year's registration from notes that your registration fee includes Admission, Parking, lunch, lanyard, and shirt. How are they including parking?? Do they leave the gates open until 8am, the time the form says to arrive before? Do they physically mail the materials out? Anyone know?

Is it the end of February yet?? :)

Shivering Tim, in the past you were directed to the south lot where you just told them you were there for the Solace. They only let you in once and if you had to use your car later you would have pay (or not in the 3hr. free lot) for parking.

Also, if you pre-register tickets to the event are mailed to you.

Another question, it says ticket holds will be asked to show coaster club ID. Now I'm a member but I want to bring a friend and she isn't a member of a club, is it like most events only need one member and then can bring friends or does everyone have to be a member of a club.

On the topic of Acers, some of them are a bit much. The one brush I had with them was stomach crampingly amusing. Guys calling each other "guuuuurl" and snapping their fingers and such. You would think you are on Flatbush and Church at a sista friend convention :) They're good guys though....

BeastFreak, I was wondering that myself... so I sent an e-mail to Knott's. I'll post the answer when I get a reply.

BeastFreak - I called the park and asked if a member of a coaster club could bring a guest who is not a member. I was told to check the website for more info but when I told the receptionist that the info on the website did not answer me question she sugested I call back again at the end of the month.

FYI, last year I was able to bring a guest without problem, but its best to wait and see what the park says first.

After talking to the park today, yes you will be allowed to bring in a couple of guests with you. But at least one person escorting them in has to be a member of an enthusiast club.
5 non club guests can be brought by the looks of it. I have a feeling a lot of non club enthusiasts will be heading out because of this, people who know someone who has a membership.
Well, I'm going with a friend who is in ACE. I was planning on getting a membership but I just havent gotten the time(or the money) to do so.

Sweet, now it looks like my maiden voyage to Knotts and SFMM won't be alone. Can't wait!

Scratch what I said. The person who said that called the organizer again and things changed. No guests.
Correct. To update my other post on this thread, current word coming from the park is that no guests will be allowed. Everyone walking through the gates must have an id card from an official coaster club.

I've got more details on another thread, so look for that one.

But you said that she said things might change, right?
Well thats crappy. Get me all excited just to shoot me down.

Keep in mind the rules might change. Especially when the PR is probably reading this thread.
yes, things might change, but for now there are no non-coaster-club-member guests.

For more details, including some that may answer your other questions, as well as be easier to discuss since it's shorter, check out this other Buzz thread:
