The last two Mr. Freeze coasters were built in 1998. There are only two. Are they any good? It looks like the ride doesn't take up that much room, which is good for small parks. Do you, the fan, think that "we" will be seeing any of these coasters at a park(s)?

there are 3 SFGADV., SFSTL, SFOT. the one at SFGRADV. is HORRID!! the person next to me was bleeding from the mouth! the worst headbanger EVER!! maybe thats why only 3 were made.
Ok, so the "guy was bleeding from his mouth." I hardly believe you.

No, SFNE Guy, there are 2 Mr. Freezes(Premier "Diving LIM Shuttle Loop" model). Another Premier shuttle, Batman & Robin: The Chiller is at SFGAd. (Premier's "Dueling LIM Shuttle Loop" model)
Are they any good? - That's a matter of opinion, but it's not many people's favorite, unless you enjoy a good head bashing. (PLEASE let them change the trains to lap bars only!)
Will there be more - Maybe, but I doubt Six Flags will purchase any more. They (and Chiller) opened a year late, went WAY over budget, and aren't exactly friendly to the mechanics. I remember plenty of not so nice things said about Chiller from supervisors during a behind the scenes tour. I wouldn't consider any of the 3 to be a rousing success for their respective parks, and I think SF is now often building respectively priced coasters that are more likable to the GP, and get more repeat riders, rather than Premier Shuttles. (Now that I think about it, SF still hasn't gotten away from buying multiple first of a kind coasters that are troublesome and open much, MUCH later than hoped ;) )

the coaster is a HORRIBLE RIDE!! yes she was bleeding from her mouth. she probably bit her tongue. I was almost knocked unconsious! but I heard they are getting lap bars. I still wont ride this piece of crap!!
Yes. Sort of. One is coming to Knott's in a new form...
Hmmm... Lets see... LSM Launch. 200+ Vertical, barrel roll (ala Mr. Freeze), near vertical dive. Figure 8 overbanked turns ala MF. 1950's styled cars... Intamin Box track.
This is all the info I have so far.

I wouldn't be so quick there, man. During Media day for Outer Limits the guy siting behind me was bleeding from his mouth. He got such a severe beating to the side of his head that his braces cut up the inside of his mouth.
After you have ridden a Premier shuttle (ESPECIALLY the Robin side of Chiller) I'm sure you won't doubt it!

Well of curse that that guy behind you was bleeding from his mouth because he has braces, you can easily cut your mouth with braces. So are the rides EXTREME HEAD "BANGISH?"

Correction: the rides were actually built in '97 at SFoT and SFStLouis but opened in '98 due to LIM problems... There are NOT 3 Mr Freezes, Batman and Robin the Chiller at Great Adventure is a completely different ride.
Mr. Freeze is incredible if you know how to ride it. Many people tense up and make the ride much more rough than it is. The trick is to stay very loose and just sit in the train normally... The spike is absolutely breathtaking as the LIMs push you straight upwards. Want...

Well, the Batman side of B&R: The Chiller has a top hat like Freeze, but Freeze, as we all know, has the vertical spike. It's *almost* the same ride, except til the end. However, the end of Freeze is much, much better than Chiller:Batman.
Interesting trivia... Mr. Freeze was originally designed in 1996 for Astroworld.
I rode Mr.Freeze at SFOT In 99'.One word INCREDIBLE! This ride rocks! Yes,there may be a couple spots of headbanging, but you can barely tell because of how much fun your having!
Yeah SFoT STOLE it from SFAW but got Texas Tornado instead which is a much better coaster!;)
Mr. Freeze is BY FAR my favorite launched ride. (Speed, S:TE, OL:FoF, Montezooma's, & Poltergeist being the others) As long as you hold on to the OSTR and keep your head back with a little pressure, you will be fine. I heard horror stories, but was 100% satisfied with the ride. I hope to see more of them in the future. If you think Freeze is rough, you have never been on a spaghetti bowl with the OSTR's.
Yeah, Astroworld has Texas Tornado, but is the stinkin' thing ever open?

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
I heard there was one in a maintenance shed at SFGAm, but they aren't building it right now. ;)
I think B&R is a great ride. I don't know what you are talking about when you say someone was bleeding from the mouth. I go to GAdv all the time and everyone loves the ride. The lines are amazing. Personally, I am glad to have Chiller at my home park, b/c it is a GREAT LIM ride!

After many rides of Freeze at SFSl we finally got to ride the one at SFoT 2 weeks ago. The one in St.Louis appears to be slightly smoother. I have also noticed for some reason the closer to the front you sit the smoother the ride seems. It could have been weather or other factors but the one in Dallas "felt" quicker and wore intense through the tophat than the one in St. Louis. We love the ride! --------
Just a couple of G-force junkies!
I really enjoy Mr. Freeze at SFStL...every time I go over there, I experience zero headbanging, and I never have. I'm quite tall, if that has anything to do with it...or I could just be lucky.:) So IMO it's a great and VERY intense ride, and you gotta love the launch.

I've never had a problem with a Premire Rides roller coaster. If Premire can reconfigure the trains on the "Mr. Freeze" rides to include lap bars, I think we will see more of them
