Will There Be Anymore New Themeparks In The Future With Better Rides?

Oh my head hurts. It's like a cesspool (sp?) of stupidity and pointlessness.

No, there will never be any new theme parks ever built ever again. Cedar Point will never build another coaster, no coaster records will ever be broken ever again, and it's all TO SPITE YOU. Way to go a-hole, spoil it for the rest of us by asking questions.

Lol...Don't you know that we are living in the END TIMES? I hear that if no "New Themeparks" are built "In The Future With Better Rides" by 2012, then it is unlikely that they will ever be built.

The reason for that is that a lot of people believe that humanity is soon moving to a higher dimension (2012), and we will no longer find rides exciting, mostly because we will be able to fly like Superman.

Cedar Points future was revealed to me in a dream last week. In that dream, I saw 6 new coasters built before the end (2012), one each year. Fortunately, it is the only park to not go out of business after we change form, because the aliens relocated all of earths apes to Ohio.

Of course it will be hard to change all of the rides restraints to fit apes, but that is the most major roadblock and it will be overcome.

Anyway, I think their will be new themeparks in the future, and I am sure their will be better rides too. Although we all can't predict the future. :)

Im gonna answer to all of these questions in a nutshell! Of course there will be new rides and of course the envolope will get pushed. But do you people actually loose sleep over this. Don't get me wrong I love coasters and parks but Im not fixating every second of the day on them. Cedar Fair L.p. is not sitting back saying "hey I wonder what nick will do next year"? This thread is bordering cult tatics.

Well, I think the original question was would there be ONE park that would have all the best rides.

Sure there will, when all the tectonic plates move just the right way and all the other parks slide toward the location of defunct Lakewood Park in Pennsylvania, except for SFMM which goes crashing into the Pacific Ocean. But nobody there will notice, because everyone will be involved in the daily riot (which some will suspect caused the massive earthquake in the first place).

Anyway, TTD and Kingda Ka will be fused into one ride with an 850 foot high hill.

Storm Runner will become a 3-lap ride with two launches-- one backward, one forward-- riders won't know which direction they'll go first, and neither will the ops. The third lap happens as the train shoots right through the station without stopping.

Steel Force and Magnum become dueling racing coasters. There will be a combination frisbee ride, with three disks that swing independently featuring a near miss at the center.

Lightning Racer, Thunderhead and Twister will be combined into one large ride with 4 separate loading stations. The ride will be the first ever to include merging lanes and include a complex system of computerized monitors and switches that will allow trains to be switched from one track onto another at designated points, thus providing a huge variety of different rides.

Raptor, Great Bear, Silver Bullet, Talon, Hydra, and other inverteds will be joined into one huge ride 6 miles long with 18 trains and 54 inversions. The real innovation will be the creation of the "Jo Roll" which is half a Jo-Jo. The train will be inverted halfway just outside the station, but will remain upside down for the remainder of the ride. Enthusiasts will argue over how many times they are "upright" during a ride.

Miraculously, Phoenix remains intact, including the older gentleman who mans the ticket booth. Even better, the park will have all the best refreshment stands-- Hershey's Chocolate, Kw's Potato Patches, Knoebels Funnel Cakes, Cesari's Pizza, and several Red Garter Saloons just to name a few (plus Coke AND Pepsi).

Everyone on the Coasterbuzz website decides unanimously that the next CoasterBuzzCon must be held there on Opening Day. Throngs of people gather outside the gates early that day. There are rumors that people have mortgaged their homes and sold their children to buy the Premium Special Exclusive Platinum Q-Bot Season Passes that will enable them to step onto any ride at any time and yank a person out of whatever seat they wish to occupy.

Just as the gates open, an asteroid comes hurtling from outer space and makes a direct hit on the park. The End.

Seems, like Coasterbuzz is turning into a real theme/amusement park. ;)

The only buzz I've had lately has been courtesy of Flonase (hack, sniffle, wheeze).

Could the newbies please do us a favor and read the Terms of Service they agreed to when they signed up? At the very least, some attempt at actual language skills do wonders for being taken seriously.
