Will horse collars become a thing of the past on s

The lap bar always felt fine on the Schwartzkopf shuttle loops, but that coaster definitely keeps you in place with centrifugal force. The lap bar on it worked fine keeping you in place going backward so no issue there. Just wondered how it would perform on a bad launch if the coaster would roll back out of the loop or hang.

I had my doubts about a multi inversion coaster such as FoF with lap bars until i rode it. It feels safe at all points, even the corkscrew. But again, all elements are taken with such speed you really are not hanging. I am tall but would rather have my feet cramped than not to be able to sit up straight under a shoulder harness.

I still have some doubts about a slow looping coaster such as Vortex with these new lap bars. The corkscrews are taken so slow you have a feeling of hanging. But again, when these new Premier bars are tight, you cannot move at all. The problem is the people with more guts than brains who want to leave their lap bars loose, even slightly. The dog leashes on FoF help solve that problem partially.

The Shoulder restraints X-flight/batwing uses are very comfortable . I Don't know If I trust a looping coaster with out a shoulder restraint...

What happens if the coaster get stuck upside down
50 or more feet up with only a lapbar?
People have gotten stuck upsidedown in lap bars in England, and from what I heard, the injuries were less severe than the ones on the Demon, with OTSR. I could be wrong though.
Krazy: It was Belgium, actually, on a Schwarzkopf shuttle loop.

chris: The PTC train is on the Texas Tornado at Wonderland Park in Amarillo, TX. Not to be confused with that other Texas Tornado with the Weiland Schwarzkopf train...!
