Will B: TDK diminish the waiting time for S: RoS?

This will be my first visit to SFNE this year, so I am really looking forward to riding both of these coasters.

BMCOASTER

You'll love S:RoS! What other coaster do you know with the nickname SIR AIR! There are 10 spots that I can count where you experience great airtime. About 3 of them are ejector air. It's great;)

Yeah, you will love S: RoS. It has crazy airtime. I never new about Sir Air though. That's cool. I can't wait to go to SFNE this season.

TOP 5
1. Alpengeist, 2. Magnum XL-200, 3. Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE), 4. Volcano: The Blast Coaster, 5. Apollo's Chariot
Close Calls 1. Grizzly (PKD), 2. Batwing, 3. Montu

Did anyone go to opening day last year? I'm going this year and was wondering if it is usually crowded. I wouldn't think it would be because the GP probably either doesn't know when opening day is or doesn't care.

Yea I did it was a little less crowded than a regular day. The line for Superman was stil an hour and a half. But there was no mist in the tunnels.
I go to opening day every year. It is actually quite crowded usually, because all of the season pass holders want to get their passes processed. Usually, letters are sent out to last year's passholders on the upcoming season's new attraction(s). This year, they are not sending them out. This will probably make it a bit less crowded this year. Opening day is just that. It isnt summer and they dont have a lot of employees yet, which means dont count on all of the rides to be open or for special effects, like mist or on-ride photos for select rides to be open either. Also, none of the entertainment (shows, performers) come until summer time.
Superman:Ride of Steel was the only major steel coaster up here when built(except for Mind Eraser). Nobody up here in New England has been anywhere else, and all they talk about is Superman:Ride of Steel. They act like it is the only coaster in the world, and if you mentions coasters they ask "have you been on the Superman?" I have not heard a single person call it anything but the Superman. It will be the number one rated coaster up here for a very long time to them and most people only notice that in the park.
Vertigo yes lol. So true.

It is so true. And all they're gonna call B: DK is "Batman" I really hate that.

haux really does have a point here. You guys will get to offset the long lines because as you know, "Batman's a lot better than Superman, it goes upside-down". Some things about the GP you just gotta LOVE!

New things always get the attention at this park. Being the only real major park in the area, the GP will always gravitate toward the newest thing. I just hope the staff is ready. It's a tough labor market to draw from. If they raised the pay, they might get more staff. The seasonal thing also is a factor. Good people already have permanent employment.
I"m starting to wonder if I should just work there. I'm 18 and old enough to just about everything there (well besides like mechanical stuff and other stuff). They really do need a bigger staff but I'll only work if they give me a week for a vacation.
They can always use employees.
