They probably wouldn't have 3 trains if they bought it new.

I'm sure that's true. But the brakes were there when it was in Japan, so it seems especially odd to not install them...just in case.

OK, where did I lose this thread? A few of the replies make it sound as if Wild Eagle is not a new coaster and was in Japan. What am I missing? Another coaster in the conversation? I know others were mentioned. Someone be a GPS for me...please?

Recalculating.... Recalculating....

Someone pointed out that the Raptor clone was really the *only* thing that was really similar to Raptor. Then, the conversation went toward that ride.

Turn left in 500 feet.

You mean Wild Eagle isn't in Japan?! I better cancel my flight. ;)

When possible, make a legal U-turn.

Quite frankly (hi Newt), that's a *good* thing.

CLASSIC!!! You listen to Stephanie Miller?

@delan: Off and on for the past six years. More off lately as a) DC doesnt have a 'progressive' radio statio (imagine *that*), b) I stopped paying for the podcast, and c) I dont bring my Sirius radio to my office anymore (I really should start doing that again).

But, yeah, I love the show.

If you want a good, progressive podcast, check out Citizen Radio. It's not only political, it's also hilarious. Be warned, it's explicit.

Might be a bit too "left" for most people, but I love it and listen everyday.

Edit: it's also free, listener supported. It's daily on iTunes.

Is that really the "recalculating" phrase? If so, that is ridiculously awesome.

I actually thought Great White is the best B:TR I've ridden. (Gotten all 6 still standing Six Flags B:TR's and SFFT's Goliath). It has 8 cars!! I thought it was faster, smoother, and more intense (as of 3 or 4 years ago or so).

As a Star Wars fan, I'm going to nitpick. Shouldn't it say "I find your lack of faith disturbing"?

^^ Don't most B:TR's have 8 cars?

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

I think Gambit (now Goliath) is one of the only inverted rides of that type (that I know of) with 7 cars.
