Wicked Twister: oh yes, the twist makes the ride!

The Hostyl One publically decrees that from henceforth you will NEVER hear/see this phrase emmited from him.
Sorry, I guess I'm just not *that* secure in my manhood....

Jeff,

I agree with you.

Wicked Twister seems to be a MUCH more insane experience while sitting in the back few rows. I got in over 30 rides on it yesterday. Most of those were taken in the back 3 or 4 rows. The very front is good also but what makes the back so awesome for me is the fact that it always caught me off guard when that amazing twist would happen considering you can't see it coming.

Try looking down at your feet when stalling at the backward spike. Talk about a creeping feeling! It appears you are just suspended right above the lake and you are about to be thrown in it.

I also think that this version of the ride feels totally different than those currently out there. It would be a shame to pass Wicked Twister up if you feel like you know what to expect because it really is a more powerfull, more insane version of what is out there now.

Jeff and Sean,

I also agree with both of you regarding WT. I think I got 4-6 front seat rides and 15+ back seat rides yesterday. I have to say the the back seems MUCH more intense than the front. Maybe it seems this way due to the fact that you can't see the backwards spiral coming, but it seemed to be much more of an intense ride in the back.

S:UE is the only other Linear Gale that I've been on. One would think that it would just be so simialr to WT, but it isn't IMHO. The launch seems to have a stronger acceleration than S:UE and it just feels so much more intense. Plus, if you're like me, the backwards spike will get you everytime. I knew it was there everytime I rode, but from riding S:UE many times, I just can't get used to twisting backwards. It was such a cool feeling! I think my favorite seat was the back left side (side most closer to Lake Erie).

I aslo did the "look at your feet" thing while going up the backwards spike. It freaked me out everytime i did it! I pointed out to Neil Rupp to also look at the sea gulls while on the backwards spike....Wow!

Which version do I liek better? I can honestly say that I can't make that decision. I like both....no, I LOVE both and both provide great and different sensations. S:UE will give you excellent floatage on the back spike, but WT will scare the living daylights out of ya through that backwards spike! It's much more intense too!
