why'd you join coasterbuzz?

I discovered Thrillride last summer, from there found a link to Coasterbuzz, and then found GTTP. Coasterbuzz is my favorite site because it is well maintained, has lots of CURRENT information, and the forum is well maintained and managed. I joined club coasterbuzz primarily to help support this effort. Since i'm the only one among my family and friends who is "enthusiastic" about coasters, I'm happy to have found a couple places to share experiences and learn more about my obsession.

Over 2 years ago, I was having some serious coaster withdrawal symptoms because it was the off-season when MF was being built. I searched in Yahoo for Cedar Point, and I stubled upon and joined GTTP. I browsed around Coasterbuzz for a few months, and 5 months later, I joined CB.

I sent in money via snail-mail to become a member of Coasterbuzz Club, and am awaiting my clearance. It has become an everyday thing for me...and much needed escape during the off-season.

I was always very interested in coasters. Being an hour away from the Point, I did a search on it and ended up at GTTP. I followed the link to Coasterbuzz and the rest is history.

Anyway, I joined CoasterBuzz earlier this year because of its great content and up-to-the-date news. You have no idea how much my knowledge on the amusement industry has increased since then. In my opinion, CoasterBuzz is a goldmine not to be overdone by any other site out there; you just can't find this atmosphere anywhere else on the web! Jeff and the mods, you guys make this site happen, and for that we all thank you!

I found out about CoasterBuzz through a article in a Chicago Newspaper that had to do with some swing in new york that fell over and they listed this web site as a place to find information on amusement park stuff. I went on this site and was immendiatly addicted to it. Everyother site I had tried before had focused mainly on one park and I finally had found a site that focused on parks everywhere.

I was on GTTP when Jeff launched Coasterbuzz, so I became a coasterbuzz member too. Also, Coasterbuzz isn't full of crap like most of the other coaster sites out there. And I like the the moderation of the fourms.
