Why was my SFGAm post closed?

Just curious...I posted it for a friend (Cyberian Husky). I wasn't advertising his site, because he doesn't have one. That was just a page he made for opening day. I thought it would be pretty silly to add it to the sites and make it a news item because it's not really a site. ???

You can contribute your site to the database, and as you update your site, you can contribute a news item stating the fact.

Site approvals are done by the webmaster.
