Why Use Deja Vu If Theres So Many Flaws?

V2 @ SFGAm computers' got fried because of a power surge, that is why it isn't running. Don't talk about Intamin like they are as incompetent as Vekoma

All of the other Impulses work, V2 , Linear Gale & S:UE

RiverView Mike Said : Many coasters do not run in the rain or under 50 degrees. We were at PKI 2 weeks ago and the temp was in the low 40's at 10am. The only coasters running were FOF (indoors), Beast and Racer. After temps warmed up in the PM, the rest started to test and run.

This cant be True, I went to PKI in June this year, and it was Raining pretty much all day(Park opened at 10AM) The temperature was probably about 35-40 degrees too, But believe it or not, All Rides were Running expect Face Off which had technical difficulties, so surely this cannot be true. OK, so most of it was Light Rain, but at times when it got a little bit heavier, we did keep wondering if PKI would close all the rides, but actually they didnt. Also, why should it be a certain temperature for a ride to run anyway, This is Dumb, they are designed to run in all kinds of Whether. When its October at Alton Towers, Do they close their Rides when its starts to rain, or the temperature reaches about 20-25 degrees(which it does at this time of year) No they dont, they still keep them running.

I personally don't think that the problems with the ride are temperature related,  last weekend we had a nice weekend here in Chicago and DeJa Vu still closed a couple times I heard.  I just don't think the temperature has any effect on weather the train catches the second lift or not.  It just doesn't make sense to me.

CoasterDude316. If the park is wrapping the trains to heat them then yes, weather obviously is playing some kind of factor. Possibly other problems exist but cool temperatures does not help the matter any.

On October 6, the ride's supposed opening day, I was told by an employee (a management type, not some 16-year old kid) that the weather was too cold for the ride to operate smoothly and consistently.  The high that day was around 50.

Also, about coasters in the rain, 2 Saturdays ago Chicago basically had a flood, and all the coasters were running except Deja Vu, Whizzer, and of course V2.  I went between 8 and 9 PM.  There must have been less than 100 people in the park.

Bull fan on the Opening day that you speak of Six Flags was unaware of the valleying problem and that is why there have been heaters installed and they did wrap the train in plastic.  What happened that day was COMPLETELY unexpected which is why it upset me so much with how everyone dogged on Six Flags.  Like we should have known cold weather could have such a drastic affect on a ride that it would not run.

As far as the valleying goes...it is strictly related to the weather.  About it not being open some other times...well, that *may* be something else ;-)

S:UE has had no major problems yet, so I don't see where SF could have been at fault there, for a LIM ride that is a proto-type it did excellent for SF, they made a smart move by getting more of them.

V2 at Marine World doesn't stop on the reverse hill. I wouldn't exactly call that "working".
