Why is everyone going crazy for Cornball express?

Glad you finally got to ride!! I love the ride, more so than Villain! More people need to get down to Indiana Beach and see what we all rave about :)

This is one of my favortie woodies. If you like this, go on Cyclops, also short with lots of air and good drops. Cyclops seemed to me like a slightly better version of Cornball.

What an amazingly wonderful little coaster! I rode it 5 times last Tuesday. By the end of the night, it was fully unleashed. We caught air on every hill! The water-chopper is the best! I love how this ride (and all the other rides at IB) at all interwoven. What a neat place! What a great ride! After riding Mean Streak and SOB after this ride, I realize that a coaster doesn't need to be huge to be great. Cornball beats the formerly mentioned rides to the curb. Top 10 all the way!
CE is incredable. There is so much good airtime and laterals on this ride, great head choppers, and good speed. Sure it doesn't look that awesome on paper (or on my CE T-shirt, LoL), but it gives one realy good ride.

I bought the shirt too, I couldn't resist ;) I wore it to Cedar Point and 2 ride ops said something about it and one person in the Mantis line asked, "Hey, what state is Indiana Beach in!?" I'm still debating on whether he was being sarcastic or not, lol.

I think that tight spaces, whether it be a small park or terrain, force you to be more creative in delivering a good ride. There probably aren't very many places in the world that you can build a Shivering Timbers, so you have to make do with what you have. Look at the way BGW used the land for Apollo, Loch Ness, Big Bad Wolf and to a certain degree Alpengeist. Where else do you find stations that are at the same elevation as the midway!

Perhaps the best example I've seen of this is Boulder Dash, though I haven't been on it. That's using what you have to work with!

I would love to ride it. Sounds fantastic. As far as height is concerned, my favorite woodie is only 85 feet tall, so I know small coasters can pack a punch.

Definatelly not Indiana Beach ;)

Hoosier Hurricane and Cornball's station are both about 20-25 ft. in the air! It's a tough accomplishment to climb all those stairs! lol

But back to Busch Gardens W., I thought it was really cool how the stations are level with the ground! It was almost odd seeing Alpengeist's like that, because the B&M inverts are mainly up 10-15 ft. in the air.
