Why dont Sfmm and SFgadv have power towers?

They are two of the biggest Sf parks and they dont have one of these S&S mastepieces(Im talking about rides like Supreme Scream at KNotts or Power tower at Cedar Pointf you dont know what I mean). They are crowd pleasing rides with pretty good capacity if you use four towers.
Do other sf parks have them? I think Cedar Fair just likes them and SF doesnt.

But mabye your right because I cnt really think of too many others.
Because they have felt in the past that other rides were better investments for their park. *light bulb*

If the shoe fits, find another one.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has some S&S towers.

Most SF parks have Intamin Giant Drops. It is strange though, that SFMM, SF's biggest park, has no modern drop ride. I'd bet SF would get an Intamin, because weren't all of SF's S&S shot rides bought before SF bought the specific park? (ie SFFT and SFNE)

I'd just guess that SF has a better, more established buisness relationship with Intamin and they know what they can expect out of them.

I still have no signature.

FT has been a SF park for at least 6 years and their S&S tower was added since then.
SFGADV will be getting a S&S this year though......
DCA and KBF have forbid S&S from selling the Space Shot and Turbo Drop models to SFMM!

Yeah Gadvwill get an "insane" ride but i would rather have towers.

3.2.1 launch

B&M Rocks, Magic Mountain's direct competitor, Knott's Berry Farm, has the world's tallest S&S tower. What would the point being if they build ANOTHER one? And even more to that, Disney's California Adventure, another competiting park, has a Space Shot tower as well. There's not point in installing an S&S tower at Magic Mountain. An Intamin stand-up Gyro Drop like Acrophobia would be a better choice if they were to build a modern drop ride.
I agree but what about other major SF parks? Sfgadv Sfgram Sfog......................

No they are not. They are installing a new upcharge sling-shot like ride replacing their old one. I'm not 100% sure that it's not an S&S 'Absolutely Insane' pneumatic slingshot though. Could be, but most likely, it's not.

It's an S&S Thrillshot, Vertigo, whatever you wanna call it, but it's definately S&S
Personally I'd rather have the Intamin ride here at SFGadv. That's just my preference. I really think we'll see one in 2003. Hopefully replacing the SBNO Parachute Drop.

coasterrod, I read on *another* site that the SBNO parachute drop will not be replaced, but repaied...I'm pretty excited about that actually, since the ride has memories for me...

Florida needs an Intamin and/or CCI soon...Please!

Incorrect, they are getting a SPRING Shot ride from Funtime Industies. The Spring shot is a redesgin of older sling shot rides but using safer steel cables rather than bungee cords and a spring chamber to launch the pod.

SFMM has a vertical shot/drop ride. Big one, too
