Why do "BRAVE" Riders Scream?

Simple...
Once a person is on the ride, they have proved their braveness. After that, who cares what they do. Does it really matter?

Normally, when I'm on a roller coaster, I scream and yell my little head off.  It is som much fun.  Besides, even if you don't scream on roller coasters, it doesn't matter because hardly anyone can hear you.  For example, on time on Magnum, I was on with my friends and after the second hill, it became a screaming contest.  My girlfriend won but she couldn't hardly talk and couldn't kiss for about a week after.  It was really funny.

I scream to embarrass my son. I made him go on Woodstock Express with me and screamed the whole time. He wouldn't stand next to me after we got off the ride and vowed to never ride it again.

Well at CP over last Halloweekends, my friend took his other friend and she got the biggest kick out of me screaming...So we were on CCMR and at the top of the 1st lift I started screaming then as we leveled out i go "OH SH*T" really loud and I got some laughs. Also through the whole ride I was the only one screaming so it was pretty funny. Most of the time I try to hold in my screaming, it starts out as humming and the my mouth just opens up real wide and I scream loud. I think it adds to the effect and makes some peoples ride experience funner. But watch out for the little kiddies, they don't need to speak bad too soon.

I hardly ever scream on a coaster because I have been on so many in the past years even on Millennium Force. I'm just a very calm person relax and enjoy the ride!

I don't ever scream on rollercoasters but I usually yell "Yeah" or something like "This is awesome." I don't understand why brave riders scream. Except I did see a rollercoaster show where some people analyzed different pitches of screams which mean different screams like happyness, relief, excitement, fear etc. It was pretty interesting. I guess brave riders like to scream to get a load off of their minds.

Just yesterday I was at CP and every time I got on MF, I screamed out AT the coaster.  I was talking to it and telling it "Bring it on!  BRING IT ON!!" I must agree with the person who said that CCMR was fun to scream on too.  My fiance and I got on and through one of the straightaways, I screamed like a woman and it was so funny.  I like to make people laugh and what better time to do it than on a coaster.  :)
