Who here has ever been on or heard of Mamba?

I'll agree with the trains being lousy... you are like a little kid in a bathtub in those things.

Anyways, Mamba pretty much is a Magnum knockoff (like several other Morgan hypers...) I like Mamba's turnaround better than Magnum (especially the helix headchoppers).

I'd like Mamba a lot better if it didn't take the train so long to get back to the station from the end brake run.

Mamba is a great ride. Even if the brakes are on, there still is some good air in the back seat. If the brakes aren't on, the front seat is crazy. The second hill is great and the helix is awesome with great headchoppers. I also agree that the trains suck, if they were more open, this ride would be even better.

Sit back, hold on tight, because Mamba is about to strike! Enjoy Your Ride!

When I was just there on Tuesday, they didn't even have the midcourse break on! Dang that was one WILD ride! So much amazingly delicious air that I couldn't even believe it. When the train was stopped on the end break, everyone in the train was sitting there in shock!

Of course they could only run one train because of this, but it was definently worth it. Plus the park was not very crowded either. And, like some people have said, the ops are great(unlike some ops who work on a wooden rollercoaster at the park *hint-hint*)

Also Thunderhawk got me absoloutly DRENCHED! The G's are just amazing on this too. I love that ride and feel that it is a more than worthy ride for the spot!

It's a wonderfully engineered ride, and probably what Okamoto had been attempting for 10 years or so.

Still, it doesn't make you respect it. At no point are you asked to do more than sit passively and take it in. It's like Raging Bull in that regard. Except Mamba brakes after the air hills...
