Who has been on Medusa at SFGAv ?

I like Medusa better than Knight Flight.  Knight Flight seemed shorter and didn't have as much going for it.  I liked Medusa's second half a little more and the zero g roll really added to the experience

sigh, SFNE goes "tiny" for 2001

I enjoy both Medusa and Knight Flight but, for very different reasons. It's true the Zero G roll on medusa may be the perfect inversion. You will also catch airtime on the way out of the vertical loop, if your restraints are not tight. The drop off the midcourse brakes is also surprising your first time. Knight Flight has less airtime and no zero G roll however, the combination of speed and swooping grace is not matched on any other floorless coaster. On both, the front seat is a must otherwise the floorless concept is wasted. If I had to pick one to visit, It would have to be SFgadv. Only because of the size of the park and larger variety of other attractions.

What about Superman:KC? I will be riding Kraken in January, and have only been on Medusa East.
How come nobody talks about S:KC?

Any resemblance to living or
dead people is purely coincidental.
Well let me change that for you then, skysox.  ;)  I have been on all 5 floorless coasters in US and without a doubt, SKC is the best one IMO.  Also, without a doubt, Medusa at SFGAd is my least favorite one.  There is something I can't put my finger on, it just seems rather dull compared to a lot of other B&M's.  I like the coaster, but if you want to compare it to other floorless coasters, it definitely doesn't hold a candle to the others.

My "rankings" of floorless coasters are as follows:

1. SKC

2. Kraken

3. Medusa SFMW

4. BKF

then BIG space

5. Medusa SFGAd

"No listenin', you hear me?"

Medusa is great. This ride has all you can ask for, it's smooth, fast, even has some airtime.

Iron Wolf: Can you stand it?

I have been on all floorless also and SKC is the best.
It is a fun ride but there are better ones out there
yeah the zero g roll on Medusa at SFGAdv is awesome!!  but i gotta say, comin out of the cobra roll, and goin up the incline to the midcourse brakes, your ears get RACKED!!  that almost ruined the experience for me.  but i did still enjoy it :)  and thats the only floorless ive been on, so i cant say if its better than others.

ROLLERCOASTERS....BETTER THAN OXYGEN BABY!!!!!!
Does any One know how Much the BKF cost ?

Think its $13,000,000 , is that right ?

Titan laps :16

Up until a few posts ago when Skysox posted I was wondering why nobody had mentioned S:KC. Of all the floorlesses, that looks the best. I have been on B:KF and Medusa West. I liked Medusa a little bit more. The diving loop and 0-g roll are the best part of the ride and B:KF doesn't have either one. But Batman has some wicked turns.

medusa (east) is a Great Ride. The drop is fun but i wish it would have turned at the top and went straight rather then cerved since alot of SFGAdvs coaster curv down there drops. The loop is big and seem like it takes forever to go trou, the half loop or whatever its called (the 2nd inversion) is ok but i got a bunch of bees splated on me once since there was a bees next somewhere up there and i was in the front seat. the barrel roll after is asem andfull of airtime.then cobra roll is a little boring since i have been trou so many of them on so many coasters. the turn into the breaks has gotten a little rough since it first opened (IMO) and then after that the ride is fun but again the cork screws are as little boring since there so comenly used on alot of coaster that i have rode.so the coaster is a Great ride but i wish they would have chose there elements better.
