Who do you ride roller coasters with?

I always ride them with my friends, Bilelele and RllrCstrDude187. Occasionally I can convince my Dad to ride them but he's not too fond of coasters anymore. I'm working on him though.

Well the last couple of years Soj (pictured next to me in my bio pic) and Willy have been with me on most of the parks I've been to (there's usually more then us three but the other people always seem to change.)

This year I'm sure I'll grab a couple more rides with Willy, as well as rides with dalton and other folk in the Southern Twin Cities area who tend to be at VF more then your normal peep.

I ride with an empty seat that hopefully, will one day be filled with, a beautiful, fun-loving female enthusiast......

But in the occasionally there's all kinds of wonderful people! I've shared rides with nearly everyone from Michigan to NY......even Bill Linkenheimer III! What a great guy. I also don't mind riding with strangers.....more often than not I get them to see parks from a different point of view.

Model coasters and rides

I ride with my friends and my family, but mostly my kids. My wife enjoys coasters (once they are over, that is), but getting her on is another story. My daughter, on the other hand, is a madman. She practically cries, like last summer at BGW, when she can't get on something. Last summer Alpengeist was down for her birthday, and she was so distraut. She has yet to ride it, and this last year she was finally tall enough. Needless to say, she was pretty down. My father practically passed out on Lochness Monster. Funniest thing I ever saw.....yes...you CAN turn green. My father proved that to me.

This summer I also may probably ride coasters with Funkytones and Valleyfair Fan ;).

Always with my husband. Have to have him to push me on some of the bigger ones. He fears nothing, but is not an enthusiast. I'm an enthusiast with a horrific fear of heights. Go figure?! It's my way of overcoming my fear, cuz once I'm on, I'm on all day.

Yep, for now it's just us three but if we brainwash any of our other friends than they will also be our riding buddies.

I have 32 coasters in my track record.....I'm so proud of myself.

I ride with my son mostly. I also ride with my family & friends on occasion. My son and I have the best time. It is definately a good way for a father and son to bond with one another.

To contribute to this thread, I have a really good friend who also marathons on Timbers that I ride with all summer at MIA. Otherwise I usually have a few friends along, or catch a lap or two(or 15....) with a fellow Cbuzzer.

And when she's not around....I have a real doll of her that I bring to parks with me. (that was a joke, BTW). Now if only I had a stuffed turtle that I could carry in my pocket with me. I really envy Jake! =)
