Who actually rated TTD?!?

Now Den....you know that ain't gonna happen...but it IS a good question...when ARE you yankees gonna start riding and stop dreaming up obscure potentialities...;)

Yes, I realize that there are differences between the rides and that they are not clones, I already said that. But you do have and idea of what to expect from TTD. I'll type out a description of the start of one of these two rides, see if you can tell which one it is...

A fast and intense launch, followed by a pull out that delivers strong positave G's, followed by a 90 degree ascent while twisting, followed by a very tight hill that delivers ejector air, followed by a 90 degree drop while twisting.

Which one was it? Oh, you can't tell, can you? That's because these rides are similar enough to at least have an idea of what the sensations are going to be. (assuming you have ridden XLR8R) Will they be exactly the same, of course not, I never claimed they would be. Is TTD better than XLR8R? There is no way of telling, since TTD is not open yet, besides, it's all a matter of opinion anyway.

Moosh is right....if it were TTD, you'd have to have mentioned that *ass-cent* as least twice more....that sucker is TALL....;)
I dunno why they even let it be rated before it opens...why dont they just keep you from rating it, then let you whan it opens. And it stinks you have to be a member to use the track record thing here...

Actually, TTD has a 270 degree drop.

Well, I used to be able to see TTD from my house, then I moved.

No, TTD has a 270* twist. The change in direction from ascent to descent is 180*. Either way, your post is incorrect.

You know, I really like the way Hostyl and Swoosh Shady think. As a matter of fact, I'd like to borrow that little principle myself. Ready? Here we go:

When I visit SFMM next spring, I plan to be disappointed by S:TE but enthralled with X. However, B:TR will be the surprise of the trip. So S:TE gets a 3, X a 9 but a 10 for the Caped Crusader. I feel better already.

Matrix Reloaded was the best movie ever filmed, but I found the conclusion to Revolutions a huge letdown. It was too pat, yet left too many unanswered questions all at once. Told ya so.

One day I'm gonna be a big ol' rock star packing stadiums with fans, so I think the bank should be more than happy to cash my $2.6 million check tomorrow. In fact, I fully expect the female teller to lustily swoon as I sign my autograph on the dotted line. They know I'm good for it--as soon as I learn to play an instrument. Come to think of it, voice training wouldn't hurt either. Anyway, gimme my money.

I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.

Ahhhhhhh. What a rush. So very cathartic. I recommend you all give this a try.

Hmm...was that a slam on me or is he being sincere? Never can tell with the 'Playa. Welcome back guy, how was your trip that you were "forced" to go on? ;)

Since when have I insincerely said "Hey, that's just plain silly?"

As for my vacation in Puerto Rico--never mind that. Lemme tell you about my next Caribbean vacation. I already like it much better...

If you ride a clone, you can say that you have had the same experience, just not on the same coaster.

so if you ride the coast-to-coaster, can you not also say that you have ridden the zoomerang???

If I have sex with someone and they have an identical twin, can't I just say I also had sex with their sibling?

And as someone who has ridden *a ton* of Boomerangs I can tell you that not all are created equal. You might *think* you know what to expect but you never know for sure *until you experience it.*

SFNE's Flashback and LC's Zoomerang may be 60 miles apart but they're *worlds* apart when it comes to the ride experience.

Ok CPlaya, you can stop rubbing it in now. :)

Hey MiG crew is going to be at SFGAm in late May - when we get the date set, I'll let you know. SFGAm isn't too far away from you and I would like to meet my nemesis face-to-face for once. No really, I would like to meet you - that is if our schedules will work out.

If someone gave birth on a ride..... there'd be bigger issues than track record.

So have you been there before? And if not, which coaster did you rate the highest?

City kids, LOL....A couple years ago, I had to actually ASK what that expression meant, 'Playa....Jill patiently explained the nuances of hay, straw, and other intricacies of farm life....

And now, I know WHY it's important to make hay while the sun is shining...:). And, even though I've never DONE it, I'd give it a 6...;)
